The apartments are in a fantastic location, surrounded by beautiful beaches and scenery. The hosts are also lovely and very helpful.

My only comment is that it's a shame the balcony doors can not be closed from the outside to keep mosquitos out of the flat when sitting outside.

We arrived in the evening and Anna was waiting for us, we had had a long day and were very tired ( my mother is 82) Anna made us feel very welcome and helped us with our cases, gave us cold drinks etc which were very appreciated! In the morning I took a walk to the small shop that had basics, it took about 8 minutes and Anna and her husband Ivan kindly gave me a lift back to the apartment! During the course of our stay they couldn’t have been kinder, home made cake, marmalade, figs from garden even a lift to the beach and sorted our early morning journey back to the ferry for us! The apartment itself was spacious with a lovely terrace, kitchen well equipped ( we cooked every eve as restaurant a bit too far for my mum in the heat and very expensive). A restaurant and lovely sandy beach were about 10-15 walk away, probably closer if you’re younger! All in all we had a fabulous relaxing time which is the whole reason we chose to visit there, the apartment was very comfortable, beach not crowded, sea calm and warm but most of all we couldn’t have asked for nicer hosts, thank you Ivan and Anna you made our holiday!

After 10 days campi g we decided to have decent sleep and shower, and it was all we expected. Clean, spacious, smile.

Nothing

The owners were kind and helpful. There is a parking space, a lovely terrace and a nice, cozy apartment, big enough for 4-5 people. It is clean, well equipped, everything was working well. It is a short walking distance from the stunning Saplunara beach and from a supermarket. We loved our stay and would be happy to come back, it was superb.

Before arriving we were in contact with hosts' daughter Branka. She was very helpful. Happy to comply with our special requests (having a 21 month old extremely curious cable loving baby). Upon arrival we were greeted with our hosts Ivan an Anna, that we can't thank enough for everything. They were both kind and helpful with all our needs. Our little boy absolutely loved them. He kept asking about them all the time (and still does so 3 days later). They didn't seem to mind him running under their feet (on the contrary, they enjoyed his company too). If it weren't for them, we would definitely miss our ferry off the island, throwing our timetable totally off the tracks. On top of that: If they ever decide to open a restaurant we are willing to drive all the way to Saplunara just to try it out O:-) . That is just about the hosts. The location itself is great too. When we were arriving after more than a 6 hour drive, and passed from Saplunara's most famous beach Velika Saplunara, on our way to apartments, we were quite bummed by the distance. It seemed felt extremly far. Luckily, it was just the anxiousness that made it way longer than it is. When my little son couldn't fall asleep that night I took him out for a walk and it took us all of about 6 minutes to reach the sand. A little grocery store with all the basics is about 3 minutes further down the road. If you don't feel like cooking yourself there is a restaurant directly the opposite of apartments (we didn't try that one), another one about a 1-2 minute walk and yet another one, plus a fast food down at the beach. Having a kid, we were on a lookout for sandy beaches. Velika Saplunara exceeded our expectations. Unless there is a SW wind the water is pretty much inland lake calm (it is protected from all other sides). There are some rocks in the water but as the sea is really clean you can easily spot and avoid them (even if you don't they are smooth so no need for...

(using "didn't like" section for finishing up the good stuff, as I run out of space there) Mala Saplunara is even calmer then Velika. Though we preferred the location and sand on Velika Saplunara. Both beaches offer quite a big space of shallow water (even to extent that we were not afraid to let the child run to get a bucket of sea water on its own). Unfortunately the one day we tried Limuni beach there was a S/SE wind bringing big waves in (even though it is really well protected) so we didn't try it and found it too out of hand to return to another day. --------------------- One thing to take into account: There isn't much else to do in the area then visit a beach. If you want a bit of more excitement you need to move to another part of the island. But as it can be crossed in less than an hour by car that is not really much of an issue...

We loved staying here. Branka was extremely helpful in sending us ferry times, bus times etc to help us reach the property (as we came from a different island). Upon arrival we were greeted outside and provided drinks and snacks with the family. The apartments are to a luxury standard, very spacious, modern, new and sparkling clean. All facilities you would need are provided and work great. The location is lovely, 5 minute walk from the supermarket, sandy beach and places to eat. Ivan and Ane are a lovely couple who own the apartments. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay here longer. It’s very rare to find such great hospitality and standards. The apartment is beautiful, very clean and has everything you need, also a good size balcony perfect for relaxing in the evening. It is walking distance to all the beaches and restaurants in Saplunara. Also, the owners were very friendly, excellent communication before we arrived and gave our stay a personal touch. I will definitely stay here again! 100% recommend.
