Around a 30 minute walk from the bus station and downtown. A quiet street with friendly locals waiving and walking by.
Very few restaurants or night life.

The staff is nice and th3 hostel itself is lovely. Bathrooms are clean
The location is not the best one... if you enjoy walking from your hostel to the main places to see, the hood has nothing to see around, no near markets, no nighlife, and also not the best neighborhood to walk around. It's like 50 min walking (or more) to main square.
Breakfast is poor... just the basic to survive until you can go to a cafeteria outside.

very stylish, affordable, clean
i don’t like the location. although it’s close to the bus station , it’s a little far from the attractions in Savassi. (But it’s easy to find an Uber ). it’s a nice spot if you want to book a night and head to the bus station the next day.

I liked the atmosphere in the hostel, delicious breakfast, close to the bus stop. Comfortable bed and possibility to check in in the evening. Recommend)

Very kind and welcoming staff. Very clean and well equipped kitchen.
The whole hostel was clean in general. Good value for money.
Maybe a couple of signs would be useful to know where the bathrooms and showers are

Nice building and interior, well equipped kitchen, quiet street, nice backyard, free breakfast, close to supermarket, friendly staff.
Power outlet didn't work, told about the problem to staff, didn't fix. Too much simple carbs for breakfast (white bread, cookies, pie), no proteins like eggs, cottage cheese. It was really drufty at common areas, that's why many people were sneezing.
