This accomodation is a perfect place where stay for a trip in Split. It is perfectly equipped and located in a calm neighborhood and close to the town and the beach.
The host are really welcoming and available for any question or request.

When you first arrive the area looks a little rough, but it is very safe and really close to everything. It is one of the nicest VRBO’s we have ever stayed at, lots of little touches and amenities inside. The hosts were great as well!! Would easily come again!!

Very convenient walk to Old Town and wome nice restaurants near too. Sandra and her brother were very easy to communicate with and the apartment was lovely 😍

Sandra was a very helpful host who was very quick with responses. The property is really nice inside with all of the amenities you'd need. Loved that each room had its own air conditioner you could control. The washing machine was a HUGE bonus because we didn't have to travel with as many clothes. The neighborhood wasn't that beautiful. SO much grafitti in Split and our neighborhood had plenty. It's very post WWII-looking architecture (think new Berlin) around the apartment. BUT only a 5-minute walk to the beach. Definitely do Ovcice beach rather than the more crowded one next to it. You can rent chairs (get there early) or get a table at the cafe and camp out there. Can also rent paddle boards for very cheap ($10/hr). Apartment was also only a 10-minute straight walk to the Old Town which is where we had all of our meals and spent our time when we weren't on beach or doing excursions on boats, kayaking or river rafting.
Overall a very clean apartment with great amenities. Safe neighborhood, but just run-down. Close to beach & Old Town.

I can't praise this apartment enough. First of all, it's in a great location, just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Split. More than that, however, the apartment has everything: air conditioning in every room, a washing machine, a dishwasher, comfortable furniture, a big fridge, wi fi, two balconies, two bathrooms, etc. In addition, Dusko, who met us when we arrived and showed us round the property, was friendly and helpful. To summarise the whole experience in one word: fantastic.

Perfect place to stay in Split.
I loved this apartment. It was immaculately clean, so comfortable and the location is perfect - close to the beach and close to old town. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone going to Split, especially with a family.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, cool retreat but still close proximity to town. I’d highly recommend this property. The bed was so comfortable with luxury linens. Cleaning service and a perfectly furnished kitchen were a great bonus.

Sandra is very kind and available. The appartement is nice and well located between the beaches and the old center (10 minutes walking distance). It’s also easy to park the car in the streets around. We really enjoy our stay!

Croatian comfort
The apartment was in a great location. Close to old town and the beach...all within walking distance. Rino the driver who picked us up from the airport, very informative and also the apartment owner was too. Apartment is very clean, comfortable and close to a market. Would love to stay here again!!!

Our First Stay in Split
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, bright, upgraded, clean & comfortable apartment. Sandra and her brother, Dusko were so accommodating. We really appreciated their care and attention during our arrival and check-in process. The complimentary bottle of wine that awaited us on the kitchen table was a lovely and welcome touch. Our only suggestion is possibly a map to the apartment from the bus station available online as well as beach towels in the apartment to use at Bacvice beach as it is so close and a lovely place to go for a swim in the beautiful Adriatic Sea. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone that we know who travels to Split.

Great apartment, great location, great host.
We stayed here as a family of 4. 2 adults, a 3 year old and a 4 month old. The apartment is so clean and had everything we could need. The rooms are big and a cot was provided. Sandra arranged for Rino the taxi driver to meet us at the airport. He was super helpful throughout our trip. Location wise, everything was in a comfortable walking distance

Great Location - smart, modern - great hosts!
Everything about this apartment is first class. Sandra was great to work with throughout every step. The apartment is truly in a great location. We didn’t have a car and it was an easy walk to the Palace, the sea, restaurants, markets, etc. Her brother met us and explained everything about the apartment and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, Konoba Nevera and Konoba Dvor - excellent! The apartment is modern with nice beds, appliances, etc. The balcony with the beautiful outdoor furniture is a nice place to sit after a busy day out. The taxi driver, Rino, whom Sandra recommended was the best - easy to find at the airport, informative about the area and also made great recommendations of what we should see. We used his services to get to Dubrovnik - felt we were in the best of hands! Thank you all for a great experience.

Great Location Nice Apartment
The apartment is small but lovely - and in a great location. We appreciated the attention to detail and the very comfortable beds. Sandra was quick to respond to any questions we had. Her brother Dusko met us at the apartment with a very nice bottle of wine as a welcoming gesture. Much appreciated! We would recommend the apartment to others. Clean - Great Location - Very Quiet despite it being just a block away from a couple busy streets.

Lovely place, modern and well appointed.
This was a lovely apartment on a quiet street about 10 minutes from Old Town, the ferry and the beach. The living area is small but worked just fine since not much time was spent there. Everything in the apartment was of good quality down to their sheets monogrammed with the name of their place. The hosts brother greeted us and was thorough in explaining the workings of the apartment. He also arranged transportation to the airport for our departure. Overall, this was a great choice for us and would highly recommend staying here while visiting the beautiful city of Split.

Perfectly appointed apartment in an excellent location.
My husband and I spent four nights in this apartment. We were met by Dusko who gave us an excellent introduction to the apartment and the area. The apartment itself had been renovated to a very high standard and was extremely comfortable and quiet. All inclusions were very high quality. The Old Town, harbour and beaches were all reached on foot in ten minutes. We highly recommend a stay here. From start to finish owner Sandra and her brother Dusko were professional, helpful and efficient.

From the first, Sandras communication was excellent. Secure Apartment delivered as described and better, spotless with all amenities required and more. Finish and appliances of a high standard with attention to detail. Safe, hairdryers , toiletries , soap capsules etc supplied and a welcome bottle of wine ! Thankyou. Met by Sandras brother who was thorough in his orientation of the property.Short walk into old town Split, near ferry terminal . Note : its up 2 flights of stairs for anyone who'd struggle.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Just Perfect!
Tolles Apartment in einer sehr schönen und zentralen Lage, aber trotzdem ruhig. Die Kontakte vor Anreise waren stets liebenswürdig, die Betreuung vorort war ebenfalls sehr nett und freundlich. Das Apartment war wirklich sehr sauber, modern ausgestattet und wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an wie zuhause gefühlt.
Wir können das Apartment mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und würden es immer wieder buchen. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeberin und Dusko

Fantastic location, fantastic apartment, fantastic city!
Superb apartment 5 mins walk from the old town in Split. Very well equipped throughout and spotlessly clean. Sandra organised for Rino to pick us up - he was superb, full of great advice on where and what to eat. There's also lots of great info provided in the apartment, along with toiletries and welcome wine and juice, which was a lovely touch on arrival.

A really beautiful apartment in a wonderfully central location, with all the amenities you could need, both indoors and out. A short walk into the heart of Split, which is a lovely place with marvellous architecture and great restaurants and cafes - particularly in the area close to the Dalmatian Palace. There is a lovely sandy local beach just a short walk from the apartment and I would definitely recommend a visit there. Sandra gave us some great tips on where to go and what to do - we walked miles just to try and see as much as possible! A day trip to Krka National Park is a must and well worth the travel time - it was one of the highlights of our holiday. Access to all forms of transport can be found at Split harbour, which is again just a short walk from the apartment, so it is easy to organise day trips etc to neighbouring Croatian islands. A truly memorable holiday 👍😊

Sandra was a lovely host who went out of her way to provide us with all the information we needed, including maps, day tours, pick up from airport details and even showed us the local supermarket. The apartment was 1st class , everything spotless and only 10 -15 mins to the beach and 10 mins to the city. Perfect apartment and location

Comfortable place in great location
Sandra had someone meet us at the Rioita Bridge and walk us to our unit. This is great since Venice can be more than confusing. The apartment was about two blocks from San Marks Square. Unit was clean, comfortable with everything we needed.

Faultless
We have stayed in apartments all over Europe and can say that this is up there with the best of them (if not the best). Immaculately clean, great facilities and we were met by Sandra with a bottle of wine and plate of local cheese, charcuterie and bread as we arrived quite late. Sandra took the time to explain the apartment and surroundings to us which helped us greatly. Apartment itself was fantastic. Everything worked and was spotless. Attention to detail excellent. Supermarket, bakery and butchers all two minutes walk. Beach and old town 10 minutes walk. Bacvice beach very busy so we walked further round the bay and spent our beach days on the Radisson sun deck (40 kuna per bed including brolly). Radisson beach restaurant also very good (limited choice but very good food). Energetic types would enjoy a good half day tromp around Marjan Hill. Split is a great place for a break and would recommend it especially if you stay at Sandra's apartment which I cannot recommend highly enough

Ackvarel is a stylish, spacious apartment equipped with everything we needed. It was absolutely spotlessly clean throughout, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the showers were powerful with a consistent water temperature. Bed linens and towels were all high quality. It is in a residential location with supermarket, green grocer, bakery and butcher within a couple of minutes walk. All transport links, beaches, green market, Riva and Old Town within an easy 10 minute walk. Location is also very quiet at night.
Arrangements with Sandra all ran smoothly. We particularly appreciated Sandra arranging for a driver to meet us at the airport and Dusko, her brother was there to meet us and explain how everything worked. Thoughtful little details such as providing an umbrella ( we only needed this once) were also really helpful.
Would be happy to recommend this appartment.

This is a beautiful apartment (just as pictured) in a quiet, residential location but just a 10 minute walk to old town and the sites. Large bedrooms and baths, very comfortable beds, luxurious linens and equipped with all you need and conveniences nearby - grocery store, restaurants, etc - for a wonderful stay in Split.
Sandra and her brother Dusko were great hosts, responding quickly to all of my questions about where to print boarding passes and arranging taxis for us.
I highly recommend this apartment!

Sandra & her brother met us, and showed us how to use all the appliances. Everything was provided from wine, water, juice, cleaning supplies, toiletries. Can't tell you how upsetting it is to go to a place and be provided with one toilet roll! The place was beautifully decorated and clean. We are very fussy about a comfortable bed, and it was. We hated to leave.

If you want a very nice apartment close to the Riva (the promenade in front of the Deocletian Palace) this is it!! This is a completely remodeled 2 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies in the heart of the city. We absolutely loved it! No attention to detail was spared to make our stay very comfortable - including the Nesspresso coffee machine with capsules, monogramed sheets, air conditioning in every room, washing machine in the bathroom, and much, much more! Sitting at night on a large deck in very comfortable furniture sipping drinks was a joy! We absolutely loved Akvarel Apartment - thank you Sandra!

This apartment was amazing. Had everything you needed for a great stay. Hairdryer, beach towels, plenty of fresh towels and bed linen. Everything was to a very high standard. Apartment was a great location for the beach and old town. Sandra and Dusko where very attentive to our needs. They organised our taxis to and from the airport. On our last day Dusko kindly let us leave our baggage at his apartment as our flight was not till late in the evening. That was over and above what we expected. Fantastic service. I would highly recommend this apartment. Just need to thank both of you for what was a great trip. Hope to come back next year.
