Ecuadorean cuisine is outstanding and they did the very best to present it to us during breakfasts and additional meals we requested. We were all there during the crisis with terrorism that accosted the country. The owners asked me, a musician, to play for the guests at a time during which everyone was distraught. Their concern for everyone's well-being and safety were quite moving. I was very reassured that this was perhaps one of the safest places in Guayaquil!
That drug-relate cartels are trying to take over the country. I understand that the hotel had nothing to do with this. Moreover, they took extra precautions to safeguard our safety. We only heard helicopters while the rest of the city was in chaos. This was truly a safe haven!

Very nice staff, clean and comfortable
Every time you leave the security gate to get food and come back you have to go through a 10 minute process for the guard to take pictures of your passport, they ask you where you are staying, and make you show proof that you’re staying there. They make you remove extra articles of clothing and show you inside your bags to make sure you don’t have anything illegal and take photos of your face.

El personal es muy amable, son personas prestan ayudar siempre.
La casa adecuada a hotel es vieja, el baño es peligroso lleno de gradas y antigua su decoración. No tienen suficiente personal así que la persona que hace recepción también atiende el desayuno y creo que es quien arregla la habitación. El desayuno es muy simple y se demora por la falta de personal. No pudimos dormir por una fiesta en la casa contigua hasta las 6am. Fue horrible no dormir toda la noche!!
