I booked to stay two nights but added on an extra night which was no problem to arrange. My room was comfortable, the host left some breakfast items and plenty of tea and coffee. The location was great for what I was doing for the weekend and it wasn't far to a coop and was a nice walk into town.

A lovely welcome from the owner and the place was very clean, well maintained with lots of nice touches - tea, coffee, croissants and pots of porridge. The room was comfortable for one person and the shower was extremely good. Although it was on a main road out of town, my room wasn’t noisy and the place is handy for a picturesque walk along the river.
Bed was too soft for my liking.

The host was welcoming and provided thoughtful amenities such as an honesty mini fridge and small cold breakfast items in the room. Everything was immaculately clean and it was a lovely building with character.
This isn't a criticism of the guest house itself, but I think it's worth knowing that it's over a mile from the train station if you're walking, although there are bus links from the centre of town.

Very clean.
Even though the heating was on, the room was very cold (it was February). If a fan heater had been provided it would have made a big difference. The duvet was also thin Summer weight so we were cold at night.
