great layout, able to eat outside with total privacy. great kitchen amenities
the base layer on the beds had too much plastic in it and would get hot and make sounds. otherwise all else was excellent

We loved it all!
Central and perfect for two travelling together. Bed and sofa beds very comfortable. Great layout and use of space.
Quiet despite being central. Loved having out door space despite cold and wet weather.
No complaints at all.
There was even coffee and teas provided. Also some juicy oranges and a bottle of water.
Dish cloths and soap provided. I brought my own spices and seasonings.
Tiny suggestion. An ice tray for top of fridge!!

Excellent location in Tavira - everything in easy walking distance and yet a quiet area. Very responsive host.
Clean, large ground floor apartment and the patio was an unexpected bonus - with sun in the middle of the day in February. Plenty of coffee and tea plus oranges provided for our use which was nice. If you travel by bus eg from Seville as we did, it’s less than a 10 min walk from the bus station to the apartment.
Not a dislike, just a suggestion - for a short stay it would be really useful to have basics like oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen. Also, to note, for those travelling like us out of main season, despite the wall heater/aircon in the living room, the kitchen and bedroom can be a bit cool in the mornings and evenings.

proximity to the town. spotlessly clean . homely and beautifully comfortable. the owner was very fast to answer txts and allowed us to stay longer on the last day to facilitate our return journey to the airport. I would highly recommend this property and it’s owner.

these are outstanding accommodations. The
beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Mario brought us oranges and we had orange juice every morning. There were lively restaurants with delicious food nearby. I would highly recommend Mario's place!

The wardrobe is not tall enough for ladies dresses.

We had a perfect holiday. Air conditioner, a big, confortable bed, 2 sofas, a fully equipped kitchen, very clean. A good correspondence with the owner. A good location in a old city, Tavira. 20min drive through the beach, or 5min walk through boat for nearest beach.

Warm, friendly and hospitable welcome. Central location. Pleasant decoration. One of the most attractive inner patios ever - great for breakfast and dinner if you're self catering.
Tiny bathroom and shower. Really hard to shower without knocking your elbows! 😄 Not much wardrobe space for hanging clothes (but had big drawers).

the stay at Mario's apartment was very fine and relaxing. everything was prepared perfectly, Mario was so helpful and friendly, his recommendations were well tasting ...
in general Tavira is a fantastic small city with history and present, beautiful beaches just nearby and some exordinary restaurants.
a little help for visitors in the colder time of the year: take thick socks or warm house shoes with you – portuguese floors are cool in winter times.
