Alea Mare Hotel

Staff were friendly, the location is superb and the hotel is clean and tidy.

Beach front bar weren’t able to provide snacks. Also the furnishings are a little tired and could do with some improvements. Especially nice for year on repeat guests, who actually expect some i improvements.

Bedrooms are very rundown. If they were refurbished it would be a 10/10 hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right by the sea. The bar is great, and the breakfast is also very good. Overall, we really enjoyed the location and the hotel’s food and drink options.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and overall condition of the room. There were hairs in the shower and on the bathroom walls when we arrived, which made the bathroom feel like it had not been properly cleaned. The sink was also completely clogged and the water would not drain at all. We informed reception about the problem, but unfortunately it was not resolved — not even with a simple drain cleaner. As a result, we were unable to properly use the bathroom sink for the entire three days of our stay. The room itself is also in need of renovation. The furniture, including the bed, is very old and worn, and even the balcony door does not close properly.
