Room was nice and large, view from balcony was great. Pool area quiet and clean. Young lady on reception was very nice and went above and beyond to help us

Sunloungers around pool not very comfy. Old blonde woman on reception was very abrupt and just not very nice.

Firstly I visit the island every year to cycle in cycling season and I bring my bike. At reception I was told I could not take my bike to the room and it would have to be locked in a room by reception. I refused to leave my bike in the room due to its value and the fact it appeared that the hotel is not willing to take responsibility should bikes go missing. The hotel needs to put up a clear policy regarding bikes on there website. The only reason I spent 4 nights here was I could not get the additional 4 nights at the hotel I always stay at as this is a hotel geared towards cyclists the Dunes clearly is not. Secondly the food, my first night I went to dinner at 8pm and some hot food had obviously been sitting for an hour and was cold so I made a choice to make sure I went to both breakfast and dinner when the restaurants opened for service as the food was fresh and hot.
