Although dated very clean and comfortable. breakfast was excellent and the staff were very polite and helpful.

The gym is still closed due to the pandemic even though now the world has transitioned to an endemic! Please re-open the fitness suite.

Convenient location for what we needed. Ample free parking. Lift to all floors. Comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Controls for heating were easy. Had a room with balcony overlooking the lake.

Not really a complaint but it’s obviously a bit tired and needs modernising. Shame the pool was closed but this was due to staff issues. Apparently the whole hotel is struggling to get staff and keep them!

Booked 2 rooms - my 91 year old mother with mobility issues given room at end of corridor. Breakfast buffet sparse when we took breakfast - fairly basic spread but included in rate so put up with it. Rooms tired & could have been cleaner, but expected this from previous reviews

The Hotel has a lot of potential and staff around the bar area very nice. Lovely outside bar area around the lake.

Hotel very dated. Menu was very limited and staying for a week would have to have same food twice. Had to leave hotel after long working day to get food. No atmosphere, three nights and was and had been the only one in the bar. Never been to any hotel anywhere in the world that will charge you if you don't fit inside the white box when the car park is so big.

Very clean. Good full English breakfast. Nice, quiet room with view over the lake. Comfortable beds.

Booked and paid for a double room to be told none were available so was given a twin room. After complaining about the room was given the option to swap rooms but at an additional cost

Superb location

1. The receptionist. Although I booked 2 rooms on Booking.com,when we got there, I was told I have 3 rooms. I said, I only booked 2,checked my confirmation email, app, all stated what I said. The receptionist(a blonde young lady) on shift on the 24th of September, around 7pm,said I called them and asked for another room, witch I didn't do. I asked how is this possible, if its an error with their sistem.. She denied that possibility. Initially when I asked, she said the third room is paid for. I panicked, checked my bank, and I was charged only for what I booked(2 rooms) after telling her that, she then said I have to do the payment, witch I didn't agree, she then tried taking the payment without my approval, twice, and she said it was declined. Not sure how she had my card details.... She was keep blaming me, and saying I did something I didn't, she didn't even crossed her mind that maybe it's an error from their part. Not for a second that lady apologiezed. 2. TV didn't work, said "No signal". After all the episode on check in, didn't dare going downstairs and enquire about it. 3. When we got to the restaurant, around 8.50,all of the hot food was finished, had to wait for a few good minutes, till they brought some more.

Very welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Plenty of free, on-site parking. Very large, comfortable, quiet and warm bedroom. Wi-Fi and breakfast included in the price.

Breakfast was poor so i just had toast.

The staff were unhelpful, the room was grotty and dingy. I kept my shoes on because the carpet wasnt clean. The bath had black mould around the edges, disgusting. There was nowhere (vending machine 🤷🏻‍♀️) to get a drink for my room. Bed very lumpy and uncomfortable, i got 1 hour sleep plus the air conditioning units ? If thats what they we’re outside my window were humming all night. Nowhere to charge my phone for work, this place is so dated that I definitely would not stay here again even for free.

Clean comfortable, staff make you feel welcome we picked a deluxe room with balcony and lake view. The included breakfast was the best we have had in a long while mix of cooked and continental. Some areas are looking a little tired but overall it was great, we will definitely use the hotel next time we visit my Daughter.

The restaurant did not have much choice and the menu is not on the website, my daughter is vegetarian and there was only one option, so we went to the havester just up the road.

Dire decor and lighting. Peeling paint on ceiling in bathroom. Stained sealant in bathroom. The whole place needed a total upgrade
