We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer, the location was excellent to station, town and harbour. We had the family room (below street level for me and daughter) which was very roomy with ensuite and kitchenette. The breakfast was delightful, served on individual trays in the breakfast room and the manager Susanne was lovely and helpful. After hours entry instructions were easy to follow. I'd recommend Freemantle B&B for female solo travelers, couples and families.
Nothing - lovely B&B.

Such a lovely place in a terrific location. We had to leave early to catch the morning ferry and breakfast was made for us and left in our fridge so we didn't miss out. Loved our stay!

Central. V close to High St, cafes, museums and Port. Interesting old building. Spotless. Very helpful host. Easy to find with good after hours entry directions. Secure. Neighbourhood felt safe. Excellent generous breakfast supplied with muesli, yoghurt, toast, good coffee.

Location is central and style of the hotel is done well.
For the cost the room it was small, with a squeeky double bed, and an old mattress. Having to share bathrooms was the most frustrating. The room lighting was dull you could barely do makeup or you had to use the bathroom. There were no biscuits to have with tea & coffee.
