The location is excellent, offering a great view of the fjord
Breakfast included butter and jam. There wasn't anyone from the property to talk too. The balcony handle was missing from the outside.

It is good for a one night stay while you are waiting for a ferry. Breakfast was ok.
Everything looked very old and cheap in this place, but it is a hostel so we expected it and it is one of few hotel/hostels in Hellesylt.

The view and location was the only good thing.
The bathroom was nasty, mold around the wall in the shower! Not a nice room or bathroom.
Breakfast was not good, coffee was terrible. Looked like the deli meats were reused day after day if not all eaten that day, not fresh food. Wasps flying around in breakfast area, the worker I told didn't seem to care.

The view from the balcony was beautiful.
I got an upgrade to a bigger room with a balcony to the view for extra 10 euro.
The room had good heating.

The guy at the reception was really nice.
I missed the ferry from Geiranger and the only way to get to the hostel was a 2.5 hours drive.
The bad was not very comfortable and the room was a bit crowded with all the bads.
the water in the shower go everywhere, there is a curtain for one side, so the toilet area stayed dry, but the rest got wet.

Got an upgrade from as single private room to a 4 bed room with balcony and view over the Fjörd! So I was very satisfied!

This hotel has one of the best locations around fjords. Great view and access to Hellesylt. Close to main toad, just 5 muns away from amazing waterfall of Hellesylt. View from room and balcony is mesmerizing. Good prompt service, pleasant staff makes it up for very basic set up. Rooms are small with 2 beds + bunk bed.
Breakfast is included in room cost. Basic items including few options for vegetarian.

Bathroom is very basic and bit smelly.
Breads were not that great
Rooms are too small for accommodating 4 people. To be fair, larger rooms and more better amenities would have cost double the amount, so in all ok for 1 night

Friendly and helpful staff. Cheap, but still questionable if even worthy.
Everything else. Facilities are poorly maintained, literally falling apart (e.g., door locks and chairs/tables in room and shared facilities). Beds and (sponge) mattresses are old and extremely uncomfortable (they are so thin that it feels like sleeping directly over the bed base). Would not recommend for more than one night, even avoid it if you can afford somewhere else.

they first offered me room in old block. that was very smelly and dark and toilet with marks in seat …Then they moved me to new block which was very bright, clean and bigger room. toilet was clean.

The view is magnificent.
The staff is super friendly and helped us a lot.
Breakfast is nice too.
The first room we got smelled like paint due to construction.. but the staff helped us change the room.
There’s no lift, so consider this when with luggage.

The hostel Is located up the Hill of Hellesylt so you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Geirangerfjord both from the shared kitchen and the room.
We booked a bulked bed, but since It was disposable the reception guy offered us a double bed, much appreciated! It is located 2 steps away from the ferry departure of Hellesylt.
Everything Is very minimal, but clean and well organised.

They would have clean the room everyday.
