The staff are well trained and very friendly at all times. The food was delicious. The room was just want we hope for and more. The shower is big en the water pressure perfect.

The road!

The breakfast was very tasty and the location was something we've always wanted, in the forest with beautiful nature. Our picnic....out of this world! We felt right at home.

Exceptional! The lodge was stunning and the staff were excellent and attentive.

We did not stay long and could not enjoy the space much but the forest and location is amazing. This could make for restful stay. The staff was very nice.

The rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated. As vegetarians, the food wasn’t great but we could only try dinner.

This is the most charming place I’ve ever visited. Peaceful, calm with the most beautiful waterfall. Dinner was great and the staff was very helpful!!! Relaxing forest walks! And the Forest picnic was such an amazing experience.

Bathroom a bit outdated, needs a bit of work.

Very friendly staff, warm welcome and good service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was all outstanding. Wonderful location with nice suites and big terraces.

The service was not just great but excellent the staff have gone above and beyond to make our stay very welcoming, we've booked a picnic and they came directly to the room just to inform us that our picnic was ready (they payed close attention to detail). Well done to the staff 👏

Loved the walking trail but would have liked it to be marked more clearly ( we got lost) Please note that you would need a high profile vehicle because the road is unsuitable for a normal vehicle (We Loved the 4x4 road but make sure that you are equipped)

It’s absolutely breathtaking. The staff were super nice. The food was top notch (just wish there was more variety). They made my partner’s birthday very special.

Very bad gravel road leading up to the location from the main road. Not suitable for small cars . Took us over an hour from the main road. Rooms could have been cleaner. Dust everywhere.

this place live up to its name, I love how serene and refreshing the place is. Nestled in the forest and lovely mountains we were able to have quality time appreciating nature and the challenging hike. since it was my birthday, the staff together with my fiancé organised a lovely thoughtful surprise that will eternally remain dear to my heart. we also enjoyed the picnic set up and amazing views of the ponds from our room.

improvement can be made with regards to the gravel road

The scenery is very beautiful but its not enough to make up for poor management and misleading advertising. The staff are fantastic and the food is excellent.

NO plan around loadshedding so don’t expect to get any sleep in the December heat with no fan. There are no screens on the windows and doors for monkeys and baboons so you cant open these. When confronted management has zero sympathy. I have never seen anyone care less. Some suites are 1km away from the main lodge (this not made clear ANYWHERE). There is no cell phone signal so without power to the wifi you are totally cut off. This is a huge safety issue. The rooms, amenities, set up etc is definitely NOT worth the price they charge. I have stayed in 2 star places that are much nicer. Food is incredible but you pay extra for this. Also not mentioned is the 30-40minute drive on dirt road to reach the place. They are not clear anywhere just how far out of Malelane they are.
