Room was spacious. Very friendly staff and convenient location. Loved the cats on the grounds

Room was still off when we arrived and needed to be cooled off. A/c and tv remotes were dysfunctional. Grounds were not well maintained

Loved everything. The staff was amazing. The room was comfortable. The bed was cozy. The sitting area with complimentary coffee was nice. The beach front patio was cool. The location was great, near restaurants and shops and great home base to explore the Road to Hana and Haleakala. I was hesitant to book because of some of the reviews. Don’t hesitate. The place is great. Not perfect. Just great and reasonably priced.

a/c could be colder, access to a microwave would be great, little bit of maintenance would be nice

Right in the middle of town - easy walking access to shops and restaurants. Cozy common areas spread throughout the hotel. Loungers in the back (on grass) near the beach. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Partygoers from the nightclub next door were loud after the club closed on a Friday night (quiet on a Saturday night and on a Sunday night). Although the property is a beach-front property, you don’t really actually see the beach from the property unless you look over a set of bushes. The loungers in the back of the property are on grass and not sand.

Great location, some staff were very kind. Super neat to have direct access to the beach (even though steps have been completely washed out by the so you need to be fit to climb down to the beach) Some nice common parts and lovely view from the top of the hotel towards the volcanoes. Clean rooms.

Mattress was very saggy and sloped heavily towards the edges. Outdoor area worn out (where there used to be a lovely cafe before). Manager not particularly helpful. Said we were upgraded when we got there and gave us the 2 smallest room giving onto the loud street even though the hotel was at least 50pct empty. At checkout, she didn’t want to keep our luggage in store for 3 nights and we had to insist for her to keep them. (Hotel mostly empty once again so plenty of room to keep things)
