Hotel del Glaciar

The design of the hotel suits its location, up in the mountains in the forest. But it is also easily accessible by vehicle. We visited in winter time; so the heating was great, hot water always in the tap. The bath is super important after spending the day in the cold. The bidet is a cool addition to any bathroom. The view from the room is amazing in either way, the bay or the Glacier. The room has all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. some of the sockets have type I and type C hybrid design, allowing to connect any device. The breakfast was good. The restaurant has a very nice view. And has a menu available to order during the day. The fireplace hall is super cozy, nice and warm. The staff is friendly and professional, and attends to the guest's needs.

Not much to say here, except maybe some little things that will appear petty. And they have no real effect on the quality of the stay or the comfort in my opinion. - The driveway wasn't cleared of snow. It appeared that it was left to freeze or melt on its own. Some evidence suggested an initial cleaning from the majority of the snow and ice, but apparently done rarely. - The bathtub is slightly smaller than expected and is of the sitting kind. You can still lie down in the water, but the feeling is a bit different. - There were no voile curtains on the window. Only blinders. I would leave some part of the blinders open to have some light from the city. - Maybe a second chair for the second person. Would've been nice to have a tea moment overlooking the city from the comfort of the room.

Beautiful place

No transfers anywhere and the property was far from everything So i would be nice to have transfers

The view is amazing. Hotel is comfy. I rate it as a 3 stars hotel. Bed, mattress and pillow are good.

Breakfast and bar food is ok. Not many varieties and food is not that good. Shower is not good. Shower curtains fell down twice. Wi-Fi was not working one morning.

Camera ampia, ho chiesto bollitore e mi è stato dato. Parcheggio privato

Moquette in camera, é una struttura più adatta all’inverno locale (sci etc) che d’estate, sembrava di stare in una struttura fantasma perche molte camere erano vuote e aperte (a vista quando passavi nei corridoi). Bagno non finestrato, foto molto ritoccate, copriletto era sporco, mi aspettavo un upgrade vista mare viste tutte le camere vuote, in generale non mi sono sentita a mio agio. Colazione nella norma, nulla di più di altri hotel molto meno cari. Sopravvalutato e rapporto qualità-prezzo basso. Ho chiesto due bustine da fare il té in camera e me le volevano far pagare.
