Great beach front property. Currently undergoing a much needed cosmetic revamp. The room was clean and very comfortable
Nothing to do with the property really… the river and harbour smells that drift across were terrible.

The view was amazing. The staff was friendly.
There were 3 of us and there was only 1 extra blanket so we got cold, 1 shower cap so we had to share. No microwave or fridge in the room.

The breakfast and supper wasn't mentioned from the booking and kater on had to pay on tue facility

I did not book it because of the early flight to Cape Town
When the receptionist told me that I did not pay for the reservation yet I have paid. Then after a very long apologised for the mistake and said it was done by him

The area the hotel was in.
The chairs in the rooms were dirty, breakfast was disappointing. breakfast is R190 per person But we waited for more than 30min for it to be ready. Only had cereal which was also very limited. Not continental at all.
No provision of water in the room.

I would not like to see others go through this.
This hotel was under renovation. Our room had no functional aircondition and no ventilation. With the stinky carpets, my wife fell very ill. I was forced to eject our departure very early in the morning.
Staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. They are racist.
Toilet failed to flush.
Why is this hotel letting rooms whilst under renovation? It has scant regard for its customers.

Only thing good about the property is location and view of the ocean
The rooms are dirty, toilet was worse. The mattress and pillows are very dirty, I struggled to sleep. The doors are messy you even feel disgusted to touch them. Everything is dirty, it needs proper cleaning.

Property is at beachfront close to good restaurants and entertainment areas.
Its dirty , rooms are not cleaned. Rooms have cockroaches. It was unpleasant.

It’s location
it’s an old property with renovated rooms. Air conditioner not working. Extended stay for a night. Waited for hours and the new room appeared as if it was unused for a long time and quite dirty. unclear why we had to wait for hours for the change. The property is tired. The staff were tired. The restaurant was tired.

The location is perfect, room was spacious
no bar fridge in the room, but other rooms did have one. noisy. staff failed to explain about kitchen, wi-fi very low.

The location is gorgeous, beachfront. Close to amenities.
There was a lot of noise very late at night - singing actually and this disrupted our sleep. The toilet seat was dirty too. The place also just needs some maintenance, cracked and peeling walls, dirty windows. For the price I expected more.
