Very modern and very clean! Staff are very friendly and great location

Doors slamming, would be nice if they could soft close.

This was our first stay in this beautifully renovated hotel and the staff were welcoming and informative. On arrival we were thrilled with the unexpected upgrade from the King Room with Mountain View which we had booked to the Hampden Suite - sensational views of the bay as well as Mt Wellington from the private patio! Check it out online. We had a really nice meal in the restaurant and received a 20% discount on the food. There are other excellent places to eat within easy walking distance of the hotel, including the Jackman & McRoss Bakery next door for stunning breakfasts, Leoht Cafe a short distance walk down Hampden Rd, also for great breakfasts, and DaAngelo Italian Ristorante also next door for fantastic traditional Italian food, including pizzas. Recommend getting to the cafes for breakfast at opening time, especially on Sunday mornings when the number of patrons usually exceeds available seating after a short time. We always try to stay in Battery Point when visiting Hobart and the Prince of Wales was a great find with an easy walk down Kelly Street to Kelly's Steps which takes you right into the heart of Salamanca Place and the wonderful Saturday market. A few minutes extra walk and you're at the MONA ferry, seafood restaurants on the harbour, etc, etc..... We'll be back soon (fingers crossed for another upgrade)

Nothing to complain about!

Great location in Battery Point. Restaurant & bar onsite was handy. Parking available at the rear with secure access. Good room layout & storage. Comfy bed

No lift though only 3 short flights of stairs!

Loved the location at battery point. The restaurant was lovely and good value. Easy parking.
