Clean and well appointed! We loved our stay!

This property was beautiful, private, and within a very short drive of downtown reykjavik. The owner was kind and the property was well-maintained. I highly recommend booking this cottage.

Wonderfully comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. We bought extra paper towels and toilet paper, then found it later, of course. The hot tub was the perfect place to enjoy the Northern Lights and we also enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace nightly. Communication with the host was excellent.

Peaceful surroundings with a beautiful view of the lake and sounds of birds and loons. Close drive to Reykjavík. This cottage has all the amenities one would need for a getaway. The cottage was very clean and it felt very cosy. The bedrooms were very comfortable with fluffy pillows. The outdoor shower was unique but if you don’t mind quickly running out in the cold mornings, you can actually get a decent shower with hot water. No one will see you btw. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Iceland. You do have to give yourself time to clean up the cottage and change the linens before you leave , so if you have to catch an early flight , just be prepared to wake up earlier. I loved this place and so did my family . The owner can easily be reached via email if you have any questions or concerns and has a quick response . Thank you for allowing us into your beautiful cottage. July 2023
