Overall, everything was pleasant, But If you don't have a car and are searching for an affordable place to stay, I highly recommend booking this.
Though parking is an inconvenience since you have to park on the street. Navigating a vehicle down the narrow road leading to the homestay is also quite tricky.

The host Krishna was very helpful, and great with arranging trips, laundry at a very good price, and transfes to onward destinations. The accomodation in Hampi is very basic, but that just add's to the charm. The location is right in the heart of the bazaar, and all of the main temples are in walking distance.. And the lady in the shop opposite is great for clothing and keepsakes. I definitely enjoyed my time theređđť
There was no hot water, AC, or refrigerator in the room. which could make a huge difference, but wasn't a deal breaker.

Warm localities. Krishna ji was very welcoming and helpful. The location of the homestay was perfect.
