City Lodge Hotel Durban

The breakfast was eatable sndvthere was variety of healthy food options. The staff was friendly and welcoming. House keeping was very accomodative with the usage of the iron and ironing board. The rooms were kept clean. The manager at the gym was nice enough to assist eith switching in the aircon as I was not aware where to switch on and apologized for the dirty state if the gym equipment.

In view that myself and my friend were sharing the room,house keeping kept on only supplying bathroom item for a single person meaning we had to share the towels,body lotions,soap bars etc. The room did not have a fridge and we had to adk thst the bring one. The gaming equipments had stains of sweat including on the floor and from the previous users and there were no wipes or damp cloth to wipe the previous user's sweat,I had to go and wet my towel in the room to come wipe the sweaty seats and handles. The was non bottled water supplied with the tea and coffee consumables.

Had to hire an Uber to ICC because of safety issues. Asked for a hairdryer but no response from the reception at all.
