Beautiful and spacious tents in the middle of the bush. The main area with the pool and eating/relaxing area was really nice. The Elephants came by the pool for a drink and it was awsome! We also had a real close encounter with a pride of seven or eight lions on their way to the evening hunt!

The vegetarian food could be a bit better.

The realest safari experience you can get (but still in a comfortable way!). The tents are really clean, modern and comfortable, the staff are unbelievably helpful and friendly, the food is AMAZING, the elephants came to the pool once during our 3 day stay and the game drives are out of this world - you are truly experiencing the wild bush! We had the best time.

Totalmente verídico el tema de los elefantes en la piscina! el personal encantador, las rutas de safari están muy bien , la comida también, la ubicación.. Volveríamos sin lugar a dudas!

Quizás el único pero sería que tienes que cenar/desayunar con la gente que hace los safaris contigo. En nuestro caso conocimos a gente encantadora pero entiendo que quizás puede que no te apetezca.

Tout était très bien : le personnel était accueillant et bienveillant, la cuisine très bonne, les équipements de la tente et des parties communes étaient de bonne qualité et sélectionnés avec goût. Nous avons eu droit à la visite de quelques éléphants pendant le petit-déjeuner. Le game drive du soir était magique, notre tout premier safaris restera à coup sûr gravé dans nos mémoires.

Les toiles des tentes mériteraient d'être retendues, il y a beaucoup de bruit dans la tente quand il y a du vent !

Geweldige plek. In de lobby kon je rustig zitten en kijken naar alle dieren die langskomen om te drinken. We hebben in 2 dagen tijd (4safaris) alle big 5 gezien

Prachtige locatie met waterpoel voor de deur met hele leuke uitkijkpost. Eten was super lekker en wordt keurig uitgeserveerd dus geen rij om zelf je eten te halen.

- perfect location for game viewing , the benefit and animals of the Kruger , without the limitations . We saw all big 5 except the buffaloes in just 2 days . - the swimming pool with drinking bassin for the elephants is as it is on the pictures .. very spectacular and what an awesome experience to stay in the pool while the elephants are visiting - the very confortable tents - the super friendly barman

Our family of 3 was added to a big group of Spanish tourists for the game viewings and meals. They didn’t speak any English and it we as a bit awkward for us .

We had such an amazing stay here. There’s legit elephants coming to drink by the pool area and were there almost every day 💜 the game drives were brilliant. we managed to see the big five in under 3 days. will defo come back here again!

Honeyguide was amazing! Dan was an incredible guide and the staff at Honeyguide are exceptional. They are passionate and truly care about the wildlife and the experience of each guest. They were able to accommodate my gluten-free vegetarian diet. Excellent food and a beautiful property.

Beware of the monkeys! They will unzip your tent and steal anything that is laying out. Something that could've been better was having closet doors on the dresser with a latch so you could unpack your things without the monkeys stealing your things.

The place to go to see animals. Game drives are amazing, in 2 days we can't list how many animals we saw. Food is good, the pool with elephants wonderful.

Bush location. Exactly what we were seeking. A more authentic experience

We liked the gamedrives the best. Our guide Brilliant was great, found and showed us all the animals. We saw four out of five of the bigfive (all except the rhino). The tents are large and comfortable. The food selection was large enough and the food very tasty.

One evening we had a honey badger in our tent.

The camp was amazing, the tents were so roomy and comfortable, beds were so comfy had electric blankets for cold nights. The camp had a generator to cover load shedding so that was great. The food was delicious and so much never went hungry. The elephants came to visit everyday which was just amazing along with other animals at the water hole. The monkeys are very naughty so be mindful not to leave anything out for them to get into we even had a hyena in camp at nights. The baboons are very noisy at night and lions had been in camp the day before we arrived as its not fenced so be mindful that animals can roam around. We had game drives morning and night which gave us good sightings of cheetah, lions, rhino and we did briefly see a leopard. We also swapped a morning game drive for a bush walk this is an additional charge which I was sure I had read we could swap at no extra charge but was worth the extra fee. Also just a piece of advice that is not clearly communicated. Once you come through the gate they give you instructions to the camp but this is not the camp you stay at, its the checkin and then once you’ve checked in you will be transported to the actual camp in a safari truck and if you are self driving will leave your vehicle at the first property so on your first day make sure you are there well before the time lunch is served as we were not aware of this and think we had upset our guide as we were not organised or ready to be taken by vehicle and chose to follow the guide in our car and was rushed to get lunch and then be ready for the game drive which follows straight after lunch is finished.

The communication regarding checkin… I had messaged the day before as requested to ask if there was any special instructions for checking in. All I got back was a message saying lunch was at 2pm and game drive was at 3.30pm which I aimed to get to the camp at 2pm as I figured we would checkin grab a quick bite and then be ready to go on the game drive at 3.30, but once we got to checkin was told we were to be taken by the guide and to get our bags from the car, we had been travelling around Kruger for 8 days and didnt have our belongings in just one bag they were spread out over multiple bags, so asked if we could drive our vehicle which we were told was ok but had to follow our guide which was fine. By this time it was approx 2.30 once arriving at the actual camp. Which we then had to get to our tent have lunch and be ready for the game drive in less than an hour. I got the feeling the guide who was our same guide for all the drives you are allocated to for the entire stay was not happy with us for delaying him but if we had been told we needed to be there by 1.30 latest and that we would then be moved to our actual camp I would have been earlier we didnt rush to get there as checkin is usually 2pm so just assumed getting there at 2 would be ok. Our guide seemed to be unhappy with us the entire time, he was friendly and made conversation with the other guests in our group but not with us and also told my husband and myself off in front of all the other guests about where we were seated on the truck and made us feel very uncomfortable which was disappointing as all the other guides were so lovely and friendly towards us and other guests to the point we felt anxious about going with our driver which was a shame because the rest of the stay was amazing

a couple of times we did have 9 people on the game drives and it was too much. they should limit the game drives to maximum 6 people.

Amazing staff and service. Tour guide was very keen to help us find the Big 5 and other animals. Meals were delicious. Tent was beautiful and clean. Unfortunately we missed the elephants drinking in the pool but assume that would have been an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

great time at Mantobeni. Big up to Michael for the amazing games. He really is a good guy, very passionate and professional. All the staff were great and food as well.

The staff were very accommodating from point of check to transfer to Mantobeni have stayed in both camps and highly recommend them. I like the bird hide in Mantobeni but I prefer the tent at Khoka Moya saying that there is very little between the two. I have been a solo guest and a guest with a friend both great experiences.

Great location in the Manyleti reserve which was really good for game viewings with well organized morning and evening safari drives. We really enjoyed the safari, saw the big 5 and lot of other wildlife in our two days at the lodge. Knowledgeable guides who seemed to love their job. Food was very good. Excellent staff. The tents are comfortable and spread out nicely. There is no fence around the camp, meaning that we had impalas, hyenas and one morning two lions just a few meters from our tent. One day when we had lunch, an elephant came right up to the pool.

No wifi in the tents, only around the pool (which the lodge had clearly indicated, so no surprise). The access road was a bit rough for our Toyota Corolla

Food was (simple but) really good, great choices of wine! We stayed 3 nights and saw Big 5 (even magnificent 7) and lot of birds and other animals (turtoise, snake,...) Tent was big and conveniant, and cleaned up every day.

Last 2 of 6 game drives were with 10 people, that was maybe a bit too much, but nevertheless it was fun. The elephants you see drinking at the pool don't show up everyday ( don't let you make this decide to choose for Honeyguide Mantobeni)

The tents are nice and brand new. The promised elephants visiting the pool. a lot of game to see. sleeping outside and hear the animals. the staff was very welcoming.
