We had the most delightful stay!
This place is a real gem — spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully set up with everything you could need. Beautifully clean, peaceful and so welcoming.
You can feel the care that has gone into creating such a welcoming space.

The hosts leave thoughtful tokens for their guests to enjoy. A bottle of good wine; cold bottled water; bath salts, bath créme and a range of bath products - lotion; shampoo; conditioner; liquid soap. The cottage has two bathrooms - one with a huge bath and the other with a shower. We have been staying at Timmerstuga for 3 breakaways now and will be returning in future. There's a patio under a grapevine where one can braai (have a barbeque) and just chill. It is one of the few holiday homes where one has all the cooking utensils needed for proper holiday dining.
Because we have been returning to Timmerstuga a couple of times and plan to do so in future, we have got used to the absence of a TV in the cottage. It would have been great to have one, but it allows us to relax without a TV.
