The apartment was great, very clean and a good size. Huge balcony is great for sunbathing. Also booking and contacting the owners beforehand was easy, will definitely book again

Great stay very spacious unit overseeing two large pools. Well stocked utensils. Clean bathrooms and each bedroom with own bathrooms. Owner very communicative when needed. Check Our firms is strict 10 am. Understandable as check in time is 2 pm. Very close to beach and restaurants. No cat needed. We had a car and parking only 10 steps away. Washer and dishwasher in kitchen. Tower warmers and black out curtains help. We will return.

Great, clean, comfortable, well equipped property in a quiet location, sharing a lovely pool and within a short walk of the bars and restaurants of Pria de Luz. Perfect!

We've been to Luz many times and this complex is the best we have stayed at, in particular this apartment. (Block 2, apartment 203). Spacious modern apartment with huge private terrace.

Fabulous apartment in a great position. Nothing to want for.

We have stayed in Praia da Luz many times but this was definitely the best apartment. Equipped to the highest standard and the huge terrace was an absolute bonus.David the owner was great to deal with, very helpful as were the management company in Luz.All in all a brilliant holiday can't wait to return.

We have just returned from a great holiday. staying this fantastic apartment. The apartment was spacious, clean and really well equiped. The balcony, as shown in the photograps, is really large and overlooks the pool area. The only very slight downside is that we would have liked to access some English channels on the TV, but non were available. This was not totally clear at the time of booking. However, this did not detract from our holiday stay. We will certainly look forward to further holidays in this great apartment and complex in the future. Thanks Ian.

We love Luz and these apartments were beautiful! Plenty of space, huge balcony, all amenties required. Whilst it’s at the top of the hill I knew this in advance so we were prepared for the little legs getting tired!

We have stayed at St James properties a couple of times and this apartment was lovely. Spacious, inside and out with a Lon epic balcony! Everything that you need in the apartment and the pools ideal especially for our 6 and 4 yr old. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. I’m sure we will be back!

A warm and sunny stay. The heating was rarely used as the living area and 2 bedrooms got the sun most of the day. The big terrace too even if it was windy was very sheltered. A bonus for a winter rental. Good communication with the owner and the agency that looks after the day to day issues and servicing. Don’t expect to learn much Portuguese. Thank you. We are returning. Séjour très ensoleillé. Nous n’avions peu utilisé le chauffage puis le séjour et les deux chambres étaient baignés par le soleil. La grande terrasse même par temps de vent était bien protégée. Un bonus l’hiver. La communication avec le propriétaire et l’agence qui s’occupe du quotidien sur place était très bonne. Par contre ne comptez pas apprendre beaucoup le portugais. Nous allons revenir. Merci beaucoup!

Really well appointed apartment with a fantastic balcony. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. One small issue was quickly resolved by the owner and agent and that made for an enjoyable stay. The pool area is great, as is Luz itself. Would highly recommend to all my family and friends.

We stayed in St James the first two weeks in July 2018. We had a wonderful holiday. Apartment is clean, spacious and has all you need - esp WiFi for teenagers!! Complex is very quiet and we often had the pool to ourselves! Luz itself is lovely and has plenty of nice restaurants within 5/10 mins walk to choose from. We ate out each evening and every restaurant we tried was excellent. Luz is very quiet but there is a regular bus service to & from Lagos which costs €1.60 or 80 cent if you buy the bus card (Can buy this in municipal building across the road from Paulo’s restaurant). A lovely apartment in a lovely resort - if you want a quiet & relaxing holiday this is the one for you!

This is a well equipped apartment in a good location.I agree with the previous review that some areas around the pool area look tired but the pool its self was clean.The UK TV system in the apartment was poor with a slow complicated system and only the basic 5 channels.I know that you do not go on holiday to watch TV but we had our grandson sleeping over several times and it would have been nice to catch up with some TV programmes. Over all though we had a lovely holiday.

Stayed at St James before and this property is quality like they all seem to be. The site is very nice but I got the impression that the pool area was a little neglected this time ( bins not emptied ,toilets dishevelled etc) No qualms however about the apt and the others we met there were all pleasant and helpful. Good atmosphere around the place - just get site marginally tidier Chris davis

We stayed for a week. We were expecting the amazing balcony as on previous reviews but the apartment itself was also a fantastic size... we were a family of 5 (4adults, 1child) and we never felt on top of each other. I loved the pass through of the kitchen and the apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Luz itself is absolutely stunning and we had a fantastic meal at YOLO- 25 euros each for 3 courses and it was fantastic. We did a boat trip around the grottos with Chico time and we saw some stunning coastline, the beach is one of the nicest I've been to and there is plenty of space. The pool area at the apartment is great, I loved the grassy areas but it was slippy around the pool and lots of people were commenting on this. My top tip would be to take a cardigan or even a hoodie for the evenings as it was cool Once the sun had set and also windy at times. We also did a trip to aqua land which we thought was fantastic and our kids aged 5 and 6 loved, although others have told us that there are better water parks nearby we found it great!

Lovely spacious apartment, very homely and spotlessly clean with everything and more you could wish for. Large pool with plenty of sun beds and kept clean every day. Very quiet and relaxing holiday with plenty to do just a short walk away. Can't wait to go back!

Clean, spacious appartment with well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, bedding, hot water etc Balcony has a useful outside dining table and sun loungers.

We have just returned from a week in this lovely apartment. It is spacious and has everything you could need for a holiday including a huge terrace. We were particularly impressed with the step stool in the kitchen for the "not so tall people"to reach the higher cupboards in the kitchen. I would certainly recommend this apartment.

Having previously owned property in Praia da Luz, David's apartment was as comfortable as mine was. Spending 28 days in February passed so quick. There is so much space both inside and outside that even if 4 or 5 people were staying you would each have your own space without being under each other's feet! The kitchen is well equipped, one item lifts the apartment (for me) over so many others - a teapot! Maybe an orange juicer would be a bonus! The rest of the apartment was comfortable with plenty of seating in the lounge and a decent sized dining table comfortably seating 6 if necessary. Beds were so comfy, almost made you not want to get up in the morning! As for the outdoor space, I don't think the photos fully prepare you for just how much space you have. It is certainly one of the largest terraces I've found and it gets the sun (even in winter) from sunrise until late afternoon. Lux itself is a quiet little place but there are many eating places dotted around the many quaint streets and the beach is larger than it may first appear. For the truly energetic you can climb up to the Pinnacle - good luck! There are many local walks around there to keep the keenest walker busy! Luz is an ideal base for getting out and about into the Western Algarve so I would recommend car hire (although you can get there from Faro by train and bus). 20 minutes takes you to the most south westerly point of Europe at Cap St Vicente where as well as getting a galao (local coffee) at the lighthouse you can walk for miles along the stunning cliff tops. Lagos is an easy 10 minute drive with it's many small shops and cafes - and Aldi/Lidl if you want those. The lighthouse has many footpaths which give stunning views of the coastline including Black Rock and Luz. Portimao with its large Aqua shopping centre is less than half an hour away for anyone who needs a regular fix of shops with many big names (for the Iberian Peninsula) like Primark, Punt Roma, Zara, C&A etc. For truly spectacular views be sure to up to Foia, the highest point in the Algarve where on a clear day you get a good view of the Algarve race track, views of Portimao in the distance and also up the West Coast. There are many secluded beaches, just find a road, drive down and you will be surprised what you will find! Looking forward to returning again in the future

Spacious apartment with everything you need. Great for a family or 2 couples. Walk to the beautiful beach and grocery. Our family loved it - would love to come back for longer than 4 nights.
