Central panoramic apartment San Martino!
In the heart of Siena a few steps from "Piazza del Campo" there is this beautiful apartment on the 3rd and last floor. Going up about sixty steps you enter the accomodation sorrounded by a breathtaking view, an internal staircase bring you into a panoramic terrace where you can see Siena with all the beauties up to the countryside for a 270 degrees view. Thanks to these characteristics in these roofs were made the shootings of the film 007 "Quantum of Solace".
The house is characterized by a large living room, with a bathroom, connected to a spacious kitchen from which you can access into a beautiful terrace, moving into the sleeping area we find the three bedrooms and a further bathroom. Accessing the bigger terrace on the top floor you will be charmed by a breathtaking view of the whole city and the southern Siena's countryside.
Regards parking areas, the area in which our apartment is located is subjected to ZTL (limited traffic area), unfortunately, therefore, you can not access the apartment with the car even only to leave the baggages, so we recommend two covered parking, multi-storey, supervised (open every day 24 huors) just 10 minutes walk from the apartment:
- Parking "Il Campo"
- Parking "San Francesco"
Parking is also available on the edge of the unguarded "Porta Romana" road with a higher price, but only 100 meters from the apartment.
From the house it is possible to reach in 5-10 minutes:
- Piazza del Campo (Palio's square)
- The cathedral
- The Provenzano Basilica
- The Chigiana music academy
- The Rectorate of the University of Siena
- The streets of Banchi di Sopra and Banchi di Sotto (the main shopping streets)
Upon arrival of the guests it will be my care to make you find a wide selection of maps and business cards about the city and its surroundings. You will also find an welcome package containing local products.
It is possible to rent high chairs and cots for babies, ask for information to learn more.
I am available to guests before, after and during the stay.
The neighborhood in which the apartment is located is very quiet, suitable for those who want to relax, but also for those who want to spend a holiday of amusement. Further this area of the city is very close to all comforts (supermarket, restaurants, bars .. .), but also to all the beauties and attractions the city offers. Considering the position of the apartment you can move on foot to reach all the needs and parts of the city to visit.
ANTI-COVID MEASURES: between one reservation and another, the environment is cleaned and disinfected with special products. The air conditioning appliances have also been cleaned in order to preserve the health of our guests. In addition, the bright and full of openings environment offers the possibility of circulating the air.

Couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend our 3-month stay in Siena! The apartment was simple but very clean with ample room for my husband and I and guests we had visit on occasion. The kitchen was modern with great appliances and ample cookware. Smart TV. AC and heat worked fine. But the BEST part was waking up and going to sleep to the amazing views! The Siena Cathedral and the Campo’s Torre del Mangia (campanile) are visible from the LR and Kitchen. There is a small balcony off the kitchen and another bigger balcony on the second floor with an outdoor table for eating. From these balconies, you have a gorgeous panoramic view of the Tuscan countryside to the left and the aforementioned city views to the right! Lovely to sit on these balconies in the early morning with a cup of espresso to hear the swallows and many church bells…equally to have a glass of wine as the sun sets on this beauty! The location was perfect…even though it is only a 10 minute walk or less from Il Campo, it is in a quieter area away from tourist traffic and crowds. Grocery store and butcher nearby. Very safe neighborhood although I would say that Siena itself is very safe. The host, Niccolò was amazing—very kind and responsive to any questions we had during our long stay. As mentioned in previous reviews, there are a lot of steps up to the apartment, but we are in our 60’s and got used to it…and the steps were worth the views and location. Highly recommend!

The location was within walking distance to everything you would need or want in Siena.The apartment was clean and spacious with great amenities. The views were incredible. Host was very responsive to our needs.

This apartment is in a good location with a great view of the Duomo tower and other attractions around piazza Il Campo. The 3 flights of stairs gave us a great workout, but it was worth the view. It truly is 10-15 walk to all the major attractions, and lots of restaurants are close. We would stay there again!
