Alpine style, wooden guesthouse in beautiful surroundings. Nature and waterfalls in every direction as soon as you step out of the property. Very comfortable bed in a good sized room. Good sized bathroom and the shower worked perfectly throughout our stay. Nice, friendly staff

It wasn’t a problem for me or my partner but the stairs up to our room were quite steep. It would definitely cause issues for someone with walking difficulties

Beautiful ‘village on waterfall’. Large apartment for 4. Host very friendly and helpful. Restaurant very close.

We wish AC had been in each bedroom versus just the main room but it cooled down after a day and the host generously gave us fans.

This place is magical… make sure to stay a night or two and you will have the best relaxing sleep ever! You wake up so refreshed and the waterfalls surrounding you will just lift your spirits up! The rooms can probably do a little bit of updating but who cares, the experience was still amazing, I think it’s part of it’s old world charms. And the ladies that are in the property are very nice and helpful… one of the ladies let me borrow an umbrella when it rained. I will definitely come back and would love to experience the magic of Slovin Unique! ☺️. PS, try to book a room with a balcony/view, it will be soo worth it! And if you need a place to eat, just above the hill is Restoran Ambar with amazing hilltop view of the city and very nearby/nextdoor is Restaurant Petro which is surrounded by the waterfalls area as well.

What is there not to like?

This is worth a trip on its own, but a must stay if you’re looking for somewhere to stay while visiting Plitvice lakes. The photos don’t do this place justice. The facility was clean, nicely laid out, AMAZING view, most beautiful property, lots of things to explore. The layout is just like the photos. It has a cabin in the woods like feel with all the necessities, quiet and peaceful, but you’re in a prime location. Amazing communication with the host, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and answered all questions, gave great recommendations, and was very welcoming. Easy 26 min drive to Entrance 1 at Plitvice. I enjoyed this place and the waterfalls on property just as much as Plitvice. You will be grateful it has a 3 night min stay, but I wish I was here longer.

This great place was let down by poor hospitality and detail Breakfast was stated as available but was not. No advice on where we could go The tv was not working and there was no one there until the middle of the next day. Tea and coffee facilities was 2 decaf pods and 2 green tea bags. We could purchase additional - for a 2 day stay. The wifi is not adequate and continually dropped out. No convenient power points - all being used or hidden in cupboards The bathroom was downstairs and bed upstairs. Access was by a very steep stair/ladder and this is quite dangerous during the night. No warning of this. No local information in the room Three check-out times, one on website 11am, 2 in room 10.30 and10 with threat of charge of full day for late checkout The in room folder contained no welcoming or helpful material, only statements of rules and draconian consequences such as calling police and being taken to court .These small inhospitable issues undermined the whole experience

Perfect for solo travelers without a car. Just a 10 min walk from Slunj's bus stop. I got there by bus from Zagreb and left by bus to the Plitvice Lakes. Room is small but comfortable, with views to the beautiful surroundings.

It feels like the main guesthouse in Rastoke. It is in a beautiful location and you can walk around the guesthouse grounds and adore nature, we're you can find several waterfalls. Perfect for couples and families. Also we like the addition of the towel warmer.

The room a bit small.

The location couldn't be better. Right above the rapids and surrounded by the most beautiful nature. The staff was very welcoming as well. Rastoke in general were so gorgeous.

The location is excellent, even more beautiful than the pictures. You’re surrounded by water and can hear the waterfalls as you go to sleep. Be sure to explore the property as there’s a small museum, water mill, cave and more to see around back. There isn’t a restaurant on the property, but there are a few within a 5 minute walk.

I was in the single room, which is a pretty tight space. It was fine for me, but someone tall or on the larger side probably wouldn’t be comfortable, so just be sure what room you’re booking.

The property has the best setting. They have a large yard that has hidden gardens and quite an impressive number of waterfalls, you don’t need to go searching them, they are literally in your very own back yard.

The only issue I had was with finding the actual spot and understanding where to park. make sure to park nearby and then ask them for a parking permit to put in your car. It should really be included in the print out itinerary.

Rastoke are a paradise on earth and our bungalow was just on top of a waterfall. The garden is magical, the staff very nice, the food is great too. One of the most amazing places to visit!

Nice rustic decor, great views an relaxing sounds. Lots of beautiful waterfalls and intact nature to enjoy and visit. Helpfull and pleasant staff. Great place to relax and take the stress oout of you.
