Loved our stay at this apartment in Old Town Valencia. Excellent location for wondering the streets and tapas bars, a short walk from the Cathedral and the Central Market. The area does get busy at night but it all adds to the charm. The apartment was exactly as listed, full of old features, beautiful high ceilings and wonderful old wooden shutters. Juan met us on our arrival even though it was 8pm on a Saturday night and gave us a map and orientated us for our stay. He also kindly arranged a taxi to the airport on our departure. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Apartment was centrally located and comfortable. Host was very kind and accommodating. We arrived late due to transport challenges and the host met us at the apartment and stayed to provide tips on places to visit and places to eat. The apartment was beautiful spacious and our host prepped it with items for our 3 year old (blocks, stuffed animals, bath toys, baby shampoo and children’s utensils. It was very thoughtful and appreciated. Our son was very excited!

We enjoyed the location for its centrality. In the heart of old Valencia. No car needed to see most of the sites, to access groceries and good restaurants. A 10 minute tramway or 30 minute bike ride to the beach. The old city is very noise at all times of the day and night because of the tall buildings on narrow streets and their echoing effect. As well, what makes this apartment so interesting is its 18th century features. However this also means that there is no soundproofing. We are a retired couple, and we did sleep. Perhaps light sleepers would have some difficulty.

It was incredibly clean, cozy and has a sunny balcony in the heart of Valencia old town. The kitchen is also fully equipped, so is perfect for both weekends and longer stays. If you are very sensitive to noise it's worth being aware you are in an area with a little hustle and bustle in the mornings and weekends, but of course that is to be expected with such a central location. Juan is a very friendly host who went above and beyond to make our stay even better. I would recommend this apartment over any hotel I have stayed at in the city previously and will return.

The apartment dates back to Victorian era but is very functional yet romantic. A perfect mix of old world charm with modern times amenities. We loved everything! We also had a bottle of white wine waiting for us in the refrigerator upon arrival!! This is TRUE hospitality! We will return! Muchas gracias Juan!!

It's a great apartment in the middle of the old city. Everything was within ten minutes walking. Kitchen was adorable, but the windows were amazing and all the exposed brick and beams--not to mention the mural on the ceiling in the bedroom. Only downsides--the noise could be annoying to some people, but we didn't find it so. The second bedroom does not have a wall that goes all the way up to the ceiling (like 15 feet), so there would not be much privacy if it was two couples renting the place. But perfect for a couple and kids.

steps from everything. literally steps. very charming place and comfortable for a family. host was incredibly helpful. sometimes loud late at night but its what you get for being right in the center. just download a white noise app. beds and bathroom comfy and kitchen fully equipped including washing machine.

Loved our stay in this Old City Valencia apartment. Really appreciated how responsive Juan was answering messages promptly and making sure we had all the information needed. The apartment was historical and charming, very clean. Had all the modern amenities we needed, and loved the two large balconies for morning coffee and evening wine & people watching. Perfect walkable location to all the great parts of the city. Neighborhood with lots of nightlife - a bit loud late at night, but didn’t bother us too much or change our experience. Would stay again and recommend!

Apartment is roomy and airy with 12 foot ceilings. Lots of windows overlooking a charming street. Owners were extremely accommodating. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, watching both tourists and locals enjoy the city. Great restaurants only steps away. Especially handy was the bike rental shop next door. Biking on the turia greenbelt was wonderful. And it was easy to continue on to the beautiful beaches. Our time in Valencia and this apartment was the highlight of our trip.

I would highly recommend this cute apartment located in old town. It is close to everything and the longest I had to walk to see the sights was 7 minutes. It's in a very safe neighborhood, if a little loud, but it's the price to pay to stay right in old town. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. My train got in before check-in and they were amiable to me leaving luggage as I went sightseeing. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was cozy and charming. The location was great. It had everything for a comfortable stay. Juan was very helpful and took his time with us. When we arrived there was fruit, water and wine. The only down side (if you are a light sleeper) that by the bedroom window the garbage pick/drop off up during the night was very loud. But it didn’t ruined the experience and I would highly recommend the apartment!

Very charming and beautiful and in a great location

My two children and I rented this apartment for our two night stay in Valencia. We loved it. The apartment is right in the heart of Old Valencia and surrounded by beautiful old buildings. The apartment itself had great character and a very comfortable living room. We loved the classic old world feel to the apartment. The air conditioning was helpful as Valencia was hot! Juan was excellent at communicating with us and ensured we got checked in ok. One note - it will likely be noisy at night as there seems to be garbage pick up around 2AM right outside the main bedroom and you are right in the heart of the old town. However we knew that going in and the location was worth it. Juan was also very prompt returning our damage deposit. We would stay here again!

great apartment and a great experience!

The location was terrific. The street noise was disruptive so we ended up sleeping in the 2nd bedroom off the street and had 3 good night's sleep. (Garbage collection at 6 am outside of the bedroom was a waterfall of glass and partiers making their way home at all hours was enough to wake us up). Do take time to see the Opera House, the Aquarium, the Hemispheric and the BioParc (at the other end of the lovely park that runs through the city). Wonderful fideau negro at the end of Calle de Quart near the Torres de Quart. A sweet jazz club (Jimmy Glass Jazz Bar) is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Oh, the rooftop bar at Barcelo offers a nice view over the city.

We spent a lovely week in Juan's beautiful apartment. Juan was really helpful and welcoming, recommending places to go, providing us with a map and some fartons, horchata and Valencian oranges. There was ample room for myself, my husband and our two teenage daughters, one of whom slept on the sofa bed which she says was extremely comfortable. We've had bad experiences with uncomfortable sofa beds in the past and usually avoid them but this one was great. The apartment looks exactly as it does in the photos. It has been lovingly and artistically renovated. Juan has produced the perfect combination of old town charm and modern convenience. The air conditioning is very effective and up-to-date with a remote control handset to alter the temperature. The shower is great. There is plenty of wardrobe space and handy hooks for towels and coats. The location is perfect since it is in easy walking distance of everything in the centre of the city. The street is gorgeous and, since the apartment has two balconies you can sit out and watch the world go by. As others have said, being so central it can be noisy at night. This wasn't a problem for us but may be worth noting if you are very sensitive to noise. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops on the doorstep. I recommend shopping at the Central Market in the morning and eating in on a couple of evenings at least. The fruit and vegetables in particular are spectacular. We also bought fish, chorizo, fresh pasta, bread and paella. Don't be put off by the monstrous looking tomatoes since they are delicious - much better than anything that we get in the UK. Overall we had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed the apartment. We look forward to returning. Thank you, Juan.

The apartment was in an old building and was beautifully restored. Juan was welcoming and provided useful information about the city. The apartment was meticulously clean, with lots of lovely touches. We would stay here again.

We were very excited to get to this appartment. The location is great, being in the middle of the old town and beautiful appartment. Easy communication and keys pick up. The downfall of the location is the noise, we had to close the windows to be able to sleep but by doing so the appartment became too hot to sleep. I had reserved an appartment with air conditioning especially to be able to sleep. We were surprised to learn that the AC was old and not used, when we put it in use it dripped water continuously. Juan did send an AC technician who said he could not fix it! I would only recommend the appartment if the AC is changed.
