Dan did a great job answering all our questions prior and during our stay. Location is remote for normal services to get back to cancun to go to walmart cost around 1300 pesos ( round trip).
Local restaurants food was good, not exceptional as i would have expected for prices. 4 main courses, bottle of wine, 2 appetizers and 2 deserts will rin you 3-4000 pesos and similar but at the steak restaurant will run you 6-7000 pesos.
The biggest issue I had was the tipping, they included gratuity on all bills but the issue is if you don’t tip over and above you will not get good service, in-fact the one waiter that delivered room service to us was insulted about a 50 pesos tip over the 300 pesos that was already on the bill! He explained that the gratuity was for all the staff.
Not sure i would go back just because of the tipping issue it made it very uncomfortable.

Wonderful place to stay in, our host Dan, was great to deal with. Highly recommend to anyone, just be aware of high tourist times, with pool side availability.

The property was very nice and we loved the location. It's a quick trip to Isla Mujeres which we love going to visit for the day. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our only complaint would be lack of a long beach to walk on.
