The hotel is lovely, it has a movie theme and all the rooms have names of movies. It is light and airy and right on the waterfront, just round the corner from our favourite restaurant, Egon. We were given a lovely water view room with a bay window

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful! The hotel is in an ideal location, close to the main pedestrian street, shops, the waterfront, and all the main attractions. Everything is within easy walking distance, which is a huge advantage. The restaurant also offers a beautiful view.
The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the bed linen and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. Our only minor comment is that the mattress was a little too soft for our liking, but of course, this comes down to personal preference. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the fireplace lounge was a lovely, cosy place to relax.
Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the idea of offering a daily fika — coffee or tea with a small cake during the day — is absolutely brilliant! It was also very convenient to have water, coffee, and tea available at all times.
The hotel offers a wonderfully welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. If we ever return to Haugesund, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

The evening meals were pretty basic and poor. Bit like prison food I would guess.
