Located on the west coast of the spectacular mountain promontory of Monte Argentario about halfway between the two fishing ports of Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, accessible only from Porto Santo Stefano, you will find this amazing property, your luxury beach hideaway. Facing the south and west, the property gets all the sun and is just perfect for up to 2 couples. The property is part of a larger buiding, a prestigious luxury residence called "Le Cannelle", the only construction on this beach, right in front of the island of Giglio and Giannutri, which can be admired from the terrace of the property. With less than 20 steps down to the water, the property is unique for its spacious outdoor patio and extra privacy, since it is facing the sea and the wild coastline. It is overlooked by a watchtower built 500 years ago (to protect from pirate attacks) and surrounded by rugged cliffs. The bay has a cordon of buoys keeping boats distant from the shore. The beach also has a bar and restaurant open in the summer months serving local fish and seafood. A location like this is rare to find on the Italian coast, and it is only 2 hours’ drive north of Rome. Here you can enioy a peaceful holiday, a few meters from the sea, that is crystal, clear and transparent and the surrounding nature is wild and untouched. This is a well-appointed property with beautiful sea views and plenty of outdoor space. The apartment is new, with fine finishes and furnishings, on two levels, complemented by a large terrace, whose beauty is enhanced by fantastic succulents, where you can enjoy absolute privacy. The apartment consists of two levels. On the ground floor there is a large living room with sea view balcony with shade and armchairs for lounging to the sound of the waves. In the living room there is a valuable new white extendable table, which can accomodates up to ten guests. There is a large and exclusive sofa consisting of eight fine handsewn pillows, designed like the old mattresses, that allows you to relax while looking at the sea. The open space kitchen is new, total white and it is equipped with dishwasher, induction hob, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer. Plates, glasses, cutlery, coffeepot, teapot, coffee machine model “Gioia” of Bialetti that requires Bialetti coffee capsules, electric kettle, immersion blender, toaster, French press coffee maker, iron and ironing board are provided. The kitchen counter top and sink are in Corian wich is an extremely delicate material, staining and chipping easily and getting damaged if hot pots are placed on the surface. Instructions are provided for treating it with care. This level also has a full bathroom, accessible during the day and at night can serve as a second private bathroom for one of the two suites. This bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. A white staircase leads upstairs where there is a bedroom with double bed, large closet, led 50 inch TV and bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. Each floor is equipped with conditioned air. The ceiling height of the kitchen and the upstairs bedroom is 192 cm. The apartment is complemented by a large terrace, with beautiful succulents, with absolute privacy, with a large 4 x 3 m umbrella, that when opened provides shelter from the sun during the hottest hours and allows you to have lunch being equipped with a fine walnut table that seats up to twelve persons. Two comfortable teak sunbeds are provided. There is a large outdoor fireplace with charcoal barbecue grill, ideal for steaks and fish. Bring your own charcoal and firelighters. A room with another shower opens onto the terrace. There is a dependance too, with separate entrance, that opens onto the terrace. The dependance is composed by a lovely bedroom with a window with view over the Giannutri island and a bathroom with large walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. The dependance is equipped with conditioned air and a led 32 inch TV. So the two bedrooms, one on the upper level and one in the dependance, are separated by the patio and guarantee absolute privacy. There is an outdoor drying rack and clothes pins for wet clothes, and a washing machine accessible in another part of the residence. There are a small portable beach umbrella and two transportable aluminium sunbeds provided for those who wish to adventure away from the home comforts. A hairdryer is provided, and there is a vacuum cleaner and cleaning equipment. The property is equipped with Telecom mixed copper fiber Wi-Fi, the best, most powerful and reliable operator in this context. The connection is fast, stable and reliable throughout the property except for the annex being dug into the rock. A scale of only fifteen steps separates you from the sea, which is just 6 meters from the apartment. This place is amazing in summer but out of season too. You can enjoy the sea but also the mountain being the residence surrounded by wild and pristine nature, you can go hiking, walking etc.
You can’t come here without your own car. There is a reserved covered parking space in the residence car parking area, after which there is a walk of about 100 yards to the property and 15 steps up to the house level. The location is not suitable for those with walking disabilities.
The closest store for food, a gas station and an ATM machine are at Porto Santo Stefano (20 mins away).
Bring with you drinking water: the tap water is drinkable but bottled water is nicer.
