The location

Im allgemeinen ein gutes Hotel für budgetreisende. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass sich die Rezeption nicht am Hotel selbst befindet, sondern um die Ecke am Tipolo Beachresort. Das Hotel selbst befindet sich nicht im Zentrum sondern ein paar Gehminuten entfernt und direkt an einem schönen Strand was die Lage optimal macht.
Das Zimmer ist einfach ausgestattet bietet eine Abstellmöglichleit für Koffer etc. und das Bett ist sauber. Das Bad könnte allerdings sauberer und gepflegter sein. Wir waren froh nach 3 Nächten abreisen zu können, da ab diesem Zeitpunkt der Abfluss unerträglich stank.
Die Mitarbeitenden sind wenig bemüht und möchten einem Touren zu viel zu hohen Preisen verkaufen. Im Ort werden diese allerdings wesentlich günstiger verkauft. Auch auf Nachfrage für einen Preis mit dem Trycicle zu einem Strand in der Nähe nannten sie uns den dreifachen Preis als der Tryclefahrer selbst verlangte.

The room was very clean and the shower was hot so it was great! The location was also very good. The restaurant at the hotel was also very good. The pizza was amazing!
The pillows could have been comfier. Maybe an additional blanket as well.

Las habitaciones son pequeñitas pero nuevas y limpias. Está situado justo enfrente de la playa donde puedes ver el banco de sardinas.
La recepción es la misma del hotel Tipolo y el restaurante tiene algunas opciones veganas (la pizza vegetariana sin queso estaba riquísima).
Puedes rellenar tus botellas de agua gratis.
El personal es muy amable.

The location nearby to the beach with the famous sardine run and the turtle point is very good.
Also a lot of different restaurants are in a walking distance of 10 minutes.
Compared to other stays in the Philippines the room was very clean and the staff helped us with every issue we had.
They provide a good and stable internet and free hot and cold water all the time.
The AC and fan in the room was very loud and annoying. Furthermore the room was very small and there were no seat options.

Dat je gebruik mag maken van terras Tipolo Beach Resort.
Locatie erg rustig en je loopt zo naar strand en hoofdstraat.
Prima restaurant Last Station voor ontbijt en diner.
Wel prettig vervoer naar vliegveld kunnen regelen.
Personeel erg vriendelijk en vooral ook bediening aan het strand.
De queensize kamer was wel erg klein met dun matrasje.
Geen mogelijkheid om zelf koffie/thee te maken
Handdoeken worden niet snel vervangen

Very close to lots of bars/restaurants but away from the busy streets. Close to a nice beach/snorkelling spot. We had breakfast at the main hotel everyday, very good value and staff were lovely. Fresh cold and hot water available and towels. Room small but comfortable for 2 for a few nights
Not cleaned while we were there. Did get dirty after the beach but there’s a broom to sweep. Did need to ask for toilet paper. Would have been nice to have towels replaced or room cleaned once while we were there but apart from that very good value for money!

Great location, very close to the beach and also only a short walk to the Main Street. The room was basic but clean, and the air conditioning worked very well.
The “bed” was a piece of MDF with a thin mattress on top but it was okay for us.

Staff was genuinely friendly and very helpful. (Booked transportation from Cebu and then on to Oslob).
Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. On sight restaurant, The last filling station was good.
The beds are comfortable, and AC was cold.
Tours were available, but we didn't participate in any. We saw sea turtles and many interesting things snorkeling just nearby by.
Nothing, everything was as expected, described. Rooms are basic but comfortable. They have free drinking water(hot or cold).

The place was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed 4 days.
The access to the beach was great we had to swim a few meters for the sardines run it was great.
The restaurant was the best we have had so far we were having almost all our meals there.
We felt we had enough privacy in the room and it was not far from the bars and restaurants in Moalboal but it is not directly there which for us was also perfect. Everybody is very nice at this place .
The room was a bit small and our terrace was not really protected against rain but we always were in the restaurant when it was raining. So it was ok .

Solar Lodge location is really nice, it has beach access in 3 min walk, and water is clean. This is the place where you can see sea turtles, a lot of boats come over from different places to swim with turtles and sardines, and you just walk 30 min and can swim with them)
The rooms are quite small, we booked room for 3 persons and it was only 16 square meters, other rooms even smaller. The big minus is the rooms does not have fridge in the room, all our drinks were warm. But the near by shop sell ice, and you can leave your ice in their fridge and use take ice when you need it.

Great location - can walk to beach for snorkeling with turtles and sardines!
very basic accommodation, but that is all you need when you are in El Nido because you should be on the water or at the beach!
Nice common outdoor seating on second floor.
No toilet seats - but bathroom was clean.

Location is very good, close to snorkling area and main activities.
Rooms were full of mosquitos. The bathroom has a huge design flaw. There is a window that cannot be closed and will remain see-through. The shower is next to the window but people can still see you shower if they want to as the genius owners decided to place a full mirror on the other side of the window which shows you showering.

I loved everything about the property. it was away from the livelier part of town, the staff were fantastic and very helpful. the area was chilled and layed back, I could not have wanted more.

location was good, access to beach through sister resort, staff were helpful regarding activities and onward travel.
air con wasn’t in a good position it completely missed the beds so we ended up warm and not sleeping very well through the night, on one day someone must have been fixing the plumbing which caused water to come up the shower plug and smell the whole room.
