The only thing we liked about this hotel was the location.

At 7 am a guy start screaming on the hallway, and at evening again…. Strong smell of marihuana on the hallway. The apartment is “ok” for the price, but I was expecting a little bit more when I looked up the pictures . The building has NO elevator. My family and I had a very bed experience especially with the constantly discomfort with the people that stays in this hotel. I do not recommend.

The bathroom wasn't very clean. There were beard hairs on the counter and the bathtub was dirty.

Repairs detracted from ambience. Prevailing odour of cleaning products. Carpets unclean

It lacks cleaning and mainly maintenance.

The beds were very comfy, and the hotel was very quiet in general (no noise from other rooms, and a quiet neighborhood). We had a good night of sleep to enjoy Algonquin early the other day. We were two couples and we stayed in the Family room - that was good for us as the two queen beds were in separate rooms (one of the beds is in the living room).

We booked for 4ppl, but they just had 2 sets of towels and bath supplys. We realized that after the front desk was already closed (11 pm), so we had to wait until the morning to have more towels. That was a little bit of incovenience.

Asked for a late checkout (till noon) and the cleaning staff walked into the room before checkout time.
