A beautiful village house
Una casa personaggio nel borgo medievale di Caunes Minervois, situato ai piedi della Montagne Noire, nel cuore della regione Languedoc viticoltura, paese cataro e Tour de France territorio.
La casa, costruita nel corso dei secoli, ma spogliato di nuovo alle mura medievali, ha un cortile appartato fuori, vista l'abbazia romanica, e dei Pirenei. E 6 posti letto, dispone di 2 bagni, soggiorno, sala da pranzo, cucina, tutto appena aggiornato, e una bella biblioteca / 2 ° salone al piano superiore.
Lo storico borgo medievale, ai margini del Parco Nazionale della Montagna Nera, è una base favolosa per esplorare castelli catari, ciclo Tour de France tappe, visitare le antiche città di Carcassonne, Narbonne, Beziers, a piedi, indulgere in cibo fresco del villaggio , i mercati, ed i vini della regione Linguadoca-Rossiglione. La spiaggia è a soli 45 minuti di distanza.

The owner was ready to help with any need or question. Very well renovated house and one of the best locations in the village.

What an absolutely wonderful time we have just spent in Caunes Minervois - everything we hoped for and more. Taking the house for a month allowed us to really get a feel for the village although for 2 of us it was a return visit after 13 years! The house is extremely comfortable and all amenities are excellent. We were lucky enough to win the toss and get the top floor bedroom with adjoining lounge which had such a beautiful outlook across the roof tops to the distant hills. Trying to understand the instruction sheets for the washing machine and cooker was interesting as there was no English translation but with the use of Google we managed to work things out! We are more than happy to thoroughly recommend the house and would like to say a big "thank you" to Elizabeth for letting us stay. On the down side was as Australians and New Zealanders BBQ is second nature and we would have loved to have been able to do this in the courtyard.
