Rowan Tree Lodge with Hot Tub, a beautiful Woodland Retreat in Shropshire
Entra all'interno del Rowan Lodge nella nostra tranquilla tenuta boschiva e ti sentirai un mondo lontano dal trambusto di casa. Con il suo design contemporaneo a pianta aperta, il soggiorno e la sala da pranzo sono un luogo invitante dopo un lungo viaggio. Anche prima di disfare i bagagli, pianifichi un pigro pomeriggio avvolgente attorno al ponte e una sera ancora più lunga, che si riempie di buona compagnia e un bicchiere di qualcosa di freddo. Il Lodge è situato in un sito di straordinaria bellezza naturale e speciale interesse scientifico. L'accesso è da una strada privata che si snoda attraverso otto ettari di bosco per rivelare viste panoramiche attraverso sei contee.
Nell'accogliente zona soggiorno, puoi sederti e rilassarti nelle sere d'inverno accanto al bruciatore di tronchi sul comodo divano a forma di L. Il lodge ha una cucina completamente attrezzata, sala da pranzo, bagno con doccia e una bella camera da letto matrimoniale con un comodo letto matrimoniale e ampia cabina armadio. Abbiamo anche un letto singolo pieghevole per eventuali bambini che potrebbero essere accompagnati. I cani sono anche i benvenuti ad un costo aggiuntivo.

The lodge was perfect for us. Cosy, warm, all facilities, utensils, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, luxury toiletries, spotlessly clean and private. A peaceful haven to recharge away from city life.

Very nice little lodge, beautiful setting. Peaceful sitting on the decking in the trees. The host was very helpful when I lost my way before arrival.

I booked rowan lodge for my girlfriends birthday. I saw it was a woodland escape so assumed it would be remote, no one around and the pictures showed there would be a lovely view.
Well, we turned up to find out we were situated on the house owners driveway and could hear the goings on out on the drive and there was no woodland view unless you count the tree with the broken branch that was in the way of that view or the small gap that you could see the house.
We paid 55 pounds for what was meant to be a hot tub. The hot tub was basically a bath for two people.
They had already warmed up for us which was nice, we got to it and found a thermometer was reading at 50 degrees. It says to add cold water if required to cool down and read the thermometer. Absolutely fine, until I found I had to walk around the cabin to the other side of the fence to operate the hose pipe meaning shouting to my girlfriend to hold the hose and tell me when. Very awkward.
The amount of wood supplied was not enough. For three days at 5 pounds a bag. That’s fine had it been said that enough will NOT be supplied for the three nights we were there.
The track down to the lodge isnt the greatest. If you care about your car it’s probably not the road for you as it resembles abit of off roading.
The lodge itself was lovely. The fire made it very homely. The shower could have been more consistent with heat but that’s the joys of a lodge I guess.
There was used coffee in the cupboard which I wasn’t too Impressed with.
All in all it’s safe to say I probably will not be going back there to this particular lodge.
