We really enjoyed our stay at Belvedere House. The house is characterful and our room was comfortable and cozy. Comfortable bed, clean modern bathroom. Host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Would stay again.
Only one minor point: Our bedroom was one of the attic rooms (which are very nice), this however meant there was only space for a bath and no shower. It would be helpful if there was a shower attachment to rinse off hair.

A lovely old fashioned proper B&B, the likes of which are hard to come by these days in a world swamped by Airbnb. We booked the two attic rooms which are nice and close to eachother.
The breakfast was delicious and generous. And the host was lovely, and the rooms comfortable.
It's an old building with lots of charm, but that means that inevitably the ceiling height is low in the attic rooms. Also there is no stand-up shower, only bathtubs with sit-down shower. Minor points!

Really nice decor, cosy rooms and tea/coffee which went above and beyond. The breakfast was amazing.
The rooms in the attic don't have showers but I have no idea how you could practically remedy this.

Very welcoming host , good breakfast , beds were really comfortable
Television is tiny , we stayed as a family of 3 and had to wait a while for water to heat beck up for a bath
