We had a lovely time at the shepherds rest. It was very comfortable and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating.

Great spot on fringe of Alnwick town centre. Decent value for a night stop. Room was reasonably appointed - en suite, good TV, and plenty of storage and hanging space.
Bathroom/en-suite was very small. Everything was there, but barely room to turn.
