The location was great, but a bit of a climb up the stairs to the accommodation.

Very nice place. Was clean. Host was very responsive, loved the no-contact check in. The upper deck with sun chairs was such a nice addition. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well.
There was a gecko that climbed out of the shower drain. A lot of stairs to get to the property but we were well aware and it didn’t bother us

The building itself is beautiful and beautifully situated, nestled into the hillside and surrounded by vegetation. The rooftop terrace is where you will get a beautiful view, we very much enjoyed taking our breakfasts and dinner up there. The bathroom was clean and beautifully decorated, the bed linen was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was delightful to open up the shutters with the oleander trees just outside.
What is not clearly stated is the fact that you need to climb 129 steps (some quite wide) from street level to reach the property- no easy task if you are carrying a reasonable amount of luggage or are older or find it difficult to walk or climb. (If you are staying in one of the lower floor rooms you will then also need to walk down more than 25 steps.)

Great location in monterosso. Stairs are quite a little hike but all good. The view from the terrace is nice. They provided towels and espresso.
We did not have any soap, not even hand soap and we had to go buy it since they did not offer any solution. There is also no reception and their link to pay the city tax did not work.
