Bangrak Pier Bungalow

So the first time I came to Thailand this was the first place I stayed. I have been back every year since. Augustin the owner has always gone out of his way to help with the journey. Once booked I had his watsap number and he arranged for us to be picked up by private air con mini bus straight from the airport 🙏 I just realised I have never wrote a review for this place so thought I would while waiting for the plane home. Ko Samui is quite a busy island but the Bangrak Bungalows are away from the noise and on the beach front. Right across the road is a 7 eleven where you can get everything you need even hot snacks and ice. Right next door on the beach you have a multitude of beach bars and Reastaraunts to chose from. Since I stayed last time there have been many changes like a new reception building at the front and new decoration of the interiors. There are lovely touches to this bungalow like bean bags on the balcony private sun loungers. There is even a little swimming pool at the side. It was absaloutly roasting when I arrived so it was a welcome dip to cool off. Mr Chai runs the place and is an avid middlesbrough supporter. I won't hold it against him 🤣 but have ordered a shirt off eBay for him and will bring it next time I come. The location is also 2 mins up the road from Bangrack Pier we're you can catch the ferry to KO Phangan or KO tow. I would like to thank Augustine for his hospitality and hope this review gives him a sense of self satisfaction on a job well done 🥳

When I checked my lottery tickets back home I did not win. This is no reflection on Bangrak Bungalows everything was perfect.

Perfect location on the beach; nice and clean room (we had the Villa on the beach); all the staff was incredibly friendly and animal-loving (there are three cats living there; and they also take care of stray animals - providing them with food); the motorbike rental shop nearby is also highly recommended; there is a 7/11 across the street

This place feels like your own private beach property.

La struttura si trova sulla strada principale che è molto trafficata e con le pareti sottili dei bungalow non riuscirete a dormire per il troppo rumore. Pulizia molto superficiale, biancheria da letto e asciugami sporchi. Abbiamo chiesto di poter rifare la camera entro le 14 (abbiamo bimba piccola che deve dormire) e questo non è stato fatto. Nessuna accortezza per i clienti, nessun servizio spiaggia… ok che è bassa stagione, ma allora abbassate pure i prezzi!!
