A wonderful private villa for a group stay - outstanding hospitality!
We stayed at Himalayan Villa, Dehradun from 18–20 September as a group of 11 friends, and had a fantastic experience.
The villa has 5 spacious bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom, and since the entire property was exclusively ours, we had complete privacy and plenty of space to relax and spend time together.
The balcony was the highlight of the property. It was spacious, peaceful, and offered a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. It was the perfect place for our morning tea and evening conversations.
A special mention for the caretakers, Kheem and Ramesh, who were extremely helpful, courteous and attentive throughout our stay. They prepared delicious, healthy and homely meals for us and also took care of purchasing the groceries and other ingredients required for the meals.
The charges for cooking and utensil cleaning were very nominal and, importantly, were clearly communicated by the host in advance through Booking.com messages. There were no surprises or hidden charges.
Overall, the combination of a beautiful private property, excellent views, delicious home-cooked food and genuinely warm hospitality made our stay extremely comfortable.
Outstanding service and a highly recommended place for groups looking for a peaceful and private stay in Dehradun. We would happily stay here again!

Absolutely outstanding place with five full bedrooms which was perfect for our large group. Well equipped with all kinds of perfectly working appliances. We had no problem cooking in the huge kitchen. House was huge with ample parking space. The staff were cordial.
Nothing much really except the staff were perhaps a bit low on initiative. Thag didn't bother us much
