La nostra casa di architettura classica in stile 'arts & crafts' del primo '900, unica nel suo genere e di fascia alta, si trova a due isolati dal Crowne Plaza Hotel e a pochi passi da Main Street a Lake Placid per fare shopping e cenare sulle incontaminate Mirror Lake. Siamo anche a pochi passi dall'inizio e arrivo di Ironman. La nostra casa è stata completamente rinnovata e con grande cura per ogni dettaglio e in armonia con il tema e lo stile originali. Dall'elegante decorazione Adirondack, al calore radiante, soffitti a volta, dipinti dettagliati e bagni privati.
Questo piano inferiore o inferiore ha tre camere da letto (re, regina, regina) e bagni privati completi in ognuna più un mezzo bagno e una camera familiare chiusa con divano letto, aria condizionata, scrivania, TV e altre 2 persone. C'è un sacco di spazio armadio e TV in ogni camera da letto più un grande sistema di intrattenimento nel soggiorno e una lavatrice e asciugatrice. Ci sono grandi finestre dappertutto e ogni stanza è dipinta in modo univoco con alcune che hanno calore radiante. La cucina è di fascia alta e aperta con tutto il necessario per quella famiglia e gli amici si incontrano. La nostra sala da pranzo può ospitare otto più abbiamo un patio esterno privato per godere con un tavolo, sedie e grill a gas di grandi dimensioni.
Ogni livello è il suo piano separato, ha un ingresso privato ed è di 2000 piedi quadrati. La casa può anche ospitare fino a otto auto per il grande parcheggio fuori strada.
Per tutti voi Ironman e Ironwomen, ci sono molte fantastiche corse e corse proprio davanti alla porta e con Mirror Lake, la spiaggia e campi da tennis a circa cinque minuti a piedi.

We cannot say enough about the house, great location to the hockey rinks as we were there for the Can/Am tournament. The house is well appointed, towels blankets pillows! The kitchen had everything we needed and was a great size. The grill is huge! Communication with the host was immediate, thank you for a great stay!

This is a lovely home in a perfect location. The house is very clean. 3 and half baths make it very convenient. We attended a wedding and the most lovely stay. Book your next trip to this beautiful place.

Plenty of room for the five adults and toddler. Short walk in to town — note a tough climb on the way back.

Property is extremely convenient to Main St and Grand Adirondack wedding venue. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped to cook and dine in. Hilltop location may challenge pedestrians who are uncomfortable with sloped sidewalks, but we had vehicles and enjoyed walking to take in the views.

So conveniently located to all the shops, restaurants and bars. Beautiful views. Pretty inside and out! Went for a bachelorette with the girls (5 of us) and it was perfect!

Excellent property for most anything you want to do in and around Lake Placid. Charming home with nice bedrooms and bathrooms as well as fantastic kitchen. Short walk down the hill to Main Street & Mirror Lake and 15 min drive to Whiteface. We will be back!

The house is roomy, with 3 large bedrooms each with their own bathroom. It is in a great location at the top of the hill above Main Street. This is easy walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants on Main Street.

The space was perfect for our family. Beautiful space with high ceilings, plenty of room and all the comforts of home. It was very clean and the location was perfect! It's walking distance to everything! We didn't really need our car at all during the weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is fine but not comfortable (extremely old and practically unusable living room furniture, beds were very uncomfortable) and very noisy (the upstairs folks kept us up at night). It’s a very central location. It does have a nice kitchen. I would not stay here again though. The fact we couldn’t sit comfortably in the living room was a major bummer.

This was first experience renting thru VRBO and I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. Rudy made everything so easy and was so pleasant to deal with. The house was a great set up. Especially loved that each bedroom had its own full bath! Great location and just what we all needed for a quick get away weekend.

Lake Placid/Hillcrest Rd rental

Finally the location is great from a birds eye view in the sense it’s super close to town but if traveling with kids (we had a 3 YO) just realize you have to go down the very steep Olympic Dr next to the Crowne Plaza unless you could the opposite direction and head down Marcy At. It’s not impossible, we did it a couple times, just be prepared. Overall we had a really good stay at this house and would recommend it.

This rental was perfect for us as grandparents vacationing with 3 grandkids (ages 9-13) and a puppy! Access to a local hotel pool was perfect with a clean, warm pool which was only about a mile from the rental. There were 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the home, a big fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of room on outside porches for sitting with our grandkids and the puppy. Hope to be back next year!

On the hill just above town. 10 minutes downhill for town or to start a walk around mirror lake. Lovely home, porch, and barbecue deck. We were very active outside, nice place to com home to.
