We stayed in the apartment above the restaurant area. It was very spacious and well appointed. The staff was very helpful and spoke English well, which was less stressful for us. The food was very good and the seating areas were very nice inside and on the terrace. The breakfasts were delicious which much to choose from! The owner was friendly and genuinely enjoyed being a host to his guests on his lovely estate. The property around the estate was very special. It’s definitely worth a walk around the pond and cave area. The pool is an excellent place to sit and take a bit of sun and a swim. It’s a beautiful place to relax.
We were there in late September so the evenings were getting cooler which makes the pool a bit chilly. We still took the plunge and it was refreshing.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with so much character, and the grounds and surroundings make it feel incredibly peaceful from the moment you arrive. Everything is exceptionally well looked after. The rooms were beautiful, the food was excellent, and the whole experience felt really special.
Nothing to complain about. Perfect weekend
