Attitude of host after request

THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL APARTMENT.A LOT OF THOUGHT WAS PUT IN TO OUR PERSONAL NEEDS AND WE LACKED FOR NOTHING.THE VIEWS FROM ALL ROOMS WERE WONDERFUL AND THE SOUND OF THE WAVES JUST MADE OUR HOLIDAY. WE WERE SO WELL RESTED AND LEFT WITH A HEAVY HEART.VERY WELL POSITIONED.

The stairs leading up to the bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit steep for my elderly parents but they would stay there again regardless as they loved it so much!

The location was fabulous. It is at the foot of the fabulous Chapmans Peak which is a must. The views were fantastic and mere 2 minute stroll to the beach. It is a very secure apartment. The decor is beautiful and the beds super comfortable. Listening to ocean is always a huge bonus. Bathrooms are great and we even had beach towels which was very helpful as we were travelling and only had small micro fibre towels. We didn't eat out, but there is no shortage of restaurants about. The Hout Bay Market was so amazing and a must to go see. The agent, Claudia was super helpful and gave us some handy travel tips which we were grateful for and we did that rather than the hop on/off bus. At this time of the year (not proper peak season yet), if a car is available, it is nice to have the freedom to stop wherever you want and bask in the glorious views around. Because of the icy sea and the huge winds, we sat by the pool which was a wonderful option to have right there too. We were also given a bottle of lovely wine which was so welcome after our long drive.

The property is amazing, perfect location to visit Cape Town and around, very clean, with all the confort needed!

My weekend stay was a memorable one. Very clean and spacious. My children wished to stay a day longer. It was value for money. Claudia the host was amazing, im definitely coming back.

Although it didn't really matter as such because we had 2 laptops to watch in the rooms, but I would suggest tv sets in the rooms.

Everything. It’s clean, spacious, safe, perfect location on beautiful Hout Bay. Lots of restaurants nearby, and Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever seen.

Nothing other than the Load shedding (planned blackouts) that are part of normal life here.

Thank you Claudia for a wonderful stay. My boys and I loved every minute and we were blessed with amazing weather in the heart of winter. We dreaded going back home.

Load shedding :( but of course made the most of it :)

It was lovely. The view was beautiful, the beach was easily accessible.

The main bedroom bed is exceptionally soft. And unfortunately there is a gym next door that plays not loud music most of the day. There’s also a restaurant next door and they play loud music at night.

Loved everything about Jamaica Beach

The view is spectacular. The proximity to awesome restaurants is such a bonus!

There are a lot of stairs to navigate with a pram but we made it work and loved every minute of our stay.

Great location! Close to the sea and Hout Bay shops. Nice to have the Beach Bar downstairs.

The host was great, we got a bit lost and she was very patient on trying to locate us also she was accommodating when we said we wanted our parents to pop in for the afternoon, so we were very grateful. The beds were incredibly comfortable. You can see the see (partially). You can hear the see, which is incredible, Restaurant’s are a stones throw away. We did feel however that this was not good value for money, just based on the many other places we have stayed at before and the price we paid. Too much reliance on location and little attention to detail.

Crockery was dirty, the one bathroom shower head was rusted so we could not really use it to shower. The keys were a bit difficult to use.

Excellent location, cozy atmosphere, stunning views from the balcony and such a warm welcome from Claudia! Felt right at home. Enjoyed every moment.

Location amazing, lovely restaurant at the bottom with the most amazing food. So convenient.
