We had a really lovely time at this apartment. It is well decorated and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. We particularly liked laying on the sun beds on the patio watching the sun go down. We enjoyed breakfast there too. There is a little grocery shop close by and a bus stop at the end of the road. We used the buses alot, they are good fun for visiting towns close by. There is a great grocery store called Massey in a Holetown which has everything you need. The beach is within walking distance and it was one of our favourites on the island. We swam every day! The beach bar is also excellent. There is a lady (collect Simone) on the beach who cooks great food - jerk chicken etc. All in all a fabulous holiday - we will definitely be back! Thank you for letting us stay.

From the beginning the contact with Elma & Tony was very warm and helpful. El Vista is a lovely appartement in an area near to different amenities and the beach. The apartment is clean and in very good condition.

We booked this for our son and his family and they arrived a day late due to a delayed connection. Elma the host was very understanding and even offered an extra day free to make up for the missed flight. The kids loves the plunge pool and the beach was a walk away. Brilliant

We were very happy with the property that we stayed in. Lots of room with a beautiful outside area we all enjoyed. Would definitely reccomend to others. Nice beaches close.

My girlfriend and I really wanted to enjoy this place but it fell very short for us in almost every way imaginable. We stayed at El Vista for 15 nights which was far too long. We were looking forward to and when we excitedly arrived everything was less than what we had expected. The place is incredibly dated and everything has severe signs of wear. The sheets had stains and looked like they were purchased in the early nineties along with mostly everything else in the apartment. There's nothing interesting or inviting about the place either. It's very bland and everything in it was severely lacking in quality. The property manager was also incredibly rude and unwelcoming to us. She raised her voice at me when I asked a simple question about the wifi being fixed since it was broken when we arrived. This place was nothing but bad news from the day we got there. There are such simple things that could've been done by the host to make the place more accommodating but it's clear that there's just a lack of care for the place. Simple things like replacing the shower head would make a huge difference - it's rusty, covered in limescale, and looks as old as the apartment. I would give this place 0 stars if I could and really hope no one else makes the same mistake we did by renting this place.

Unsafe at night to walk down the hill, pot holed unlit road. Car would be needed, however dangerous blind entrance and exit to property.. We definitely would not go back and feel we could have been better informed on the location .

We had a superb holiday staying at El Vista. The apartment is centrally located between Holetown and Speightstown and really close to a great beach (reeds bay). We would though suggest that you need a car to fully explore the island. We visited St Nicholas Abbey, Atlantis sub, animal flower cave and Hunts gardens. All were fabulous. We'd recommend the Fish Pot, Just Grillin and De Outback for evening meals and the shop at the bottom of the street has all the basics and a bar! Big thanks to Lloyd for organising a car for us. We tried to make our holiday car free but rang him on day two. He had a car in the car park ready for me in two hours!

Just returned from El Vista and enjoyed it immensely...the patio with the dipping pool is a great place to relax...the location is ideal for daily ventures to nearby beaches and restaurants...plenty of room for four adults....Thank you Elma and Tony!

Can only say 😀� your in for a bit of heaven a truly beautiful place to go with lovely food people beaches.the atmosphere ambiance. The apartment itself has everything you need all you need to do is lay on the sun lounger 😀�listening to the birds 😀� nothing is a problem if you need anything Rachel will fix it .if she can a truly lovely person 😀�who goes above and beyond to help. Shop at the bottom of the hill if you need a bag of sugar.access to bus stop easy 😀�from there any place to you wannabe is a breeze 😀� would recommend this place to anyone. Bright clean and really well suited for a perfect holiday .in fact I’m laughing at myself as I’m writing this as the more I recommend this beautiful place the less chance I have to book next year as it gets booked up pretty fast 😀�😀�😀� wonderful is the way to describe this place 😀�can only give five stars 🌟� Enjoy if you book you won’t be disappointed 👌�😀�👍�🏾�

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Had everything we needed. A home away from home. We highly recommend. Everyone we dealt with was very pleasant, from the owner, to property manager and house keeper. I also recommend using HomeAway to book my holiday as this was quite easy and straight forward. We live on the island but it was a nice change of scenery. Thanks again to everyone involved for helping to make a much needed break relaxing.

The location is great! It’s right up the road from the beach and a seven minute drive from Limegrove. The area is safe and the locals are extremely friendly. Kimberly who took care of the house cleaning was extremely pleasant and helpful. She answered all questions we had and even suggested some fun activities for us during our stay. Our stay went off without a hitch. The home is absolutely beautiful! Thank you again.

El Vista is a lovely apartment , its very clean and very comfortable , fully equipped with everything you could need for a self catering holiday , in fact you could say home from home. The bedrooms are air-conditioned which makes it very comfortable of a night time, theres a safe deposit box and wifi all included at no extra cost. Beautiful view from the patio , with a view of the sea and a view of the wooded area where if your lucky you might see a green monkey or two , as we did , very peaceful and quiet location apart from the occasional car that passes on the road beside the property but that wasn't an issue with us. The local beach is idilic with crystal clear water and white sand , its very safe for swimming and snorkelling with a coral reef just a short swim from the shore that is populated by lots of colourful marine fish , the beach is mainly used by a handful of friendly locals and has a small sandy carpark if you drive there. Shopping for food and provisions wasn’t a problem as there is several supermarkets a stones show away , the local store is at the bottom of the road in walking distance , although for the bigger ones a car is probably needed . Communications with the owners was second to none , we was in touch with them every step of the way and once we arrived in Barbados that continued with the help given by Rachel the property manageress . All in all we couldn’t fault this apartment and would definitely recommend to others and definitely stay again ourselves should the opportunity arise .

We enjoyed our 2 weeks in this apartment which is well situated on the nicest part of the West coast with easy access to both Holetown and Speightstown and the main costal road bus routes. The apartment and patio are spacious and compared well with other rentals we have used in Barbados and we would recommend it to other visitors.

A lovely apartment, we made use of the lovely plunge pool. Felt very safe and secure at night. The only slight downside is you need a car as up a very steep hill and not safe to walk down it in the evening. In the day time buses into Holetown, Mullins and Speightstown are very easy and regular. Would stay again and totally recommend

Fantastic property every thing you needed on hand seriously as a housewife it had the basics for cooking your meals with out your feeling it s a nightmare I would say they could do with some large mixing bowls tubs so you could marinate food or mix a batch of dough but otherwise all good 😀�I would say you definitely need a car service was excellent beds comfortable view amazing n above all shop local and beach a 2 min drive away or a 7 min walk the towns 15 min away n easy ride on local buses 2 dollars 😀�lovely locals lovely place and a true original way to get to know a beautiful island food beer sea life beaches what better place to do it the agent rachel was on hand at any time a truly lovely experience and will be booking again very soon

There was a secure feeling on entering the grounds, being met by the Manager made everything really welcoming and the high standard of the apartment is made obvious from the John Lewis crockery to the M&S bed linen. The information books gave good suggestions as to eating places within easy walking distance and also places of interest a little further afield. The beach is a stones throw away with places that should be on everyone's shopping lists like Holetown and Speights Town within equidistance of the apartment. We would give this apartment 4 1/2 out of 5, the extra half would be if there was a swimming pool, although the plunge pool was rather 'good'. We will definitely stay here again and we're planning on it being sooner rather than later.

This apartment is perfect for a couple or a small group of friends! The balcony is so nice with the plunge pool and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking big meals (lots of pots/pans even a blender). The bed was super comfortable and really nice pillows. Great location and only 10 mins walk to the coast. The hill on the way back up to the apartment is steep! But it's worth it for the view. I would recommend staying here - its super quiet and private. You never see anyone from over the fence cos its really high. There's a great restaurant about 7 minutes walk away called 'De outback'. Its really out of the way and do great cocktails and some of the best snapper fish I've ever eaten!
