LA STORIA
Masseria Nuova, di epoca settecentesca, si trova immersa nei secolari oliveti del Salento. Il canto dei grilli ed il cinguettio degli uccelli interrompono la tranquillità di un posto, di altra epoca, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. Le bianche ed aggrinzite pietre della zona ed il colore rosso della terra insieme ad una vegetazione selvatica dai mille colori e profumi fanno da cornice al complesso masserizio ricco di storia
CONFORT E ACCOGLIENZA
L’ Ospite, accolto in confortevoli stanze, finemente arredate, viene coccolato dai vari confort che la struttura offre; frigobar, aria condizionata, riscaldamento, televisore LCD, ampio bagno privato interno alle camere.
HISTORY
Masseria Nuova is a 18th-century manor farm, immersed in the centuries-old olive groves of Salento.
The song of crickets and the chirping of birds interrupt the peace of a place from another time, where time seems to stand still.
The white and wrinkled rocks of the area, the red soil, and a thousand color and fragrance wild vegetation are the framework for the rich historical manor farm complex.

The guest is welcome in comfortable and finely furnished rooms, and pampered by the various comforts the facility offers; Fridge, air conditioning, heating, LCD TV, large private bathroom inside the rooms.

Riepilogo delle recensioniL'alloggio era eccellente, pulito e bellissimo. La struttura è stupenda e i proprietari sono favolosi. Abbiamo apprezzato una colazione gustosa ogni mattina con succo appena spremuto. Grazie per un soggiorno splendido.

We are not novices to tourism-we drove in Turkey, Greece, visited Europe by rail. However, not knowing the meaning of Italian road signs/addresses, combined with unremarkable, high above the road signage for Masseria Nuovo, we drove anxiously up & down the country road looking for its one-lane dirt track turn off among many others along the road. The host simply handed us a key, indicated 8pm dinner. An early afternoon arrival left us hungry due to the property’s unavailable restaurant. We had to backtrack to find lunch. Sava, the nearest town was small & typically closed from 12pm-4pm, finally finding only gelato.The major town Francavilla Fontana was farther away. Our plan for staying at a masseria was to relax from the stress of driving/parking in Italian towns. By the dinner hour, hunger added to our stress. The menu was only in Italian. If you cater to tourists from other countries, you should accommodate their language. Also, the language barrier with the waiter/host was frustrating. The meal however, once decided upon, was adequately prepared. Disappointingly, there were no other guests during our stay. We had hoped to mingle, meet other people. Typical Italian breakfast was suitable. Had there not been the strain of trying to negotiate the region’s unfamiliar roads, customs & language, our experience may have been different, but we didn’t encounter such difficulties with lodging elsewhere in our two week trip in Puglia. As advertised, Nuovo itself was satisfactory.

Accommodations were excellent, clean and beautiful. The property is gorgeous and the property owners are fabulous.
Enjoyed a tasty and well prepared breakfast every morning with my wife.
The fresh squeezed juice was a special treat.

La Masseria è immersa in un'oasi di silenzio e tranquillità. Il proprietario è estremamente disponibile e gentile. Colazione ottima con prodotti fatti in casa. Consigliato.

Nous avons adoré nos deux nuits passées à La Masseria, Giovanni nous a super bien reçu! Un séjour magique, la masseria a été refait avec beaucoup de goût. Le petit déjeuner (très généreux) était délicieux !!
