South Bay Holiday Park

The resort was near a local nature reserve ( Sharkem Point) and the coastal path to Berry Head - very beautiful for active people. It was close to a greatsand/shingle beach which was ideal for swimming and dog walking - our border collie loved it, though the 100+ steps would be difficult for anyone disabled and there are no facilities on the beach. We took a picnic. The resort was secluded, but not too far from the town (Brixham), but over a mile walk. It was quiet once the resort entertainment had finished and we could hear tawny owls calling in the night. It was very good for families with children.

The accomodation was a bit sparce, so you needed to provide everything and the site shop was not that brilliant. There was no cafe on site or nearby, thought there were pubs at St. Mary's, and of course, plenty to do in Brixham itself, a super working fishing port, where you often see seals and cetations. Its great for just walking around, eating, drinking, people watching and has a wonderful local community spirit. So not much to dislike.

Lady stripy in just looked like underwear singing. Not acceptable Caravan was the furthest away after I asked for something close after my hip replacement Also absolutely smelt of Dog
