Very good and will without a doubt be going back again during the year.

Very good and served on time and very well. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Always on hand to assist where necessary.

Fridges in room require servicing as they were not freezing or keeping drinks and fruit fresh and cool

Affordable and spacious accommodation in Bulawayo

the spacious room and the friendly staff. the room had a fantastic jacuzzi

I really enjoyed the stay and m not shy to recommend to whoever may be looking for a place in Byo.

The breakfast was super good and was served on time. I liked the location, the ambience was just good, i can safely say i have found a new home in Byo. The level of hospitality was top notch. Kudos to Ntabiso, he makes sure the guest are comfortable

The Lodge was spotlessly clean and the staff were all so lovely and welcoming.

The staff tried their best but should not offer evening meals if they don’t have the facilities

Rooms were large and beds comfortable manager gave discount for a disappointing meal which showed he was trying to recover the situation.

Shower didn’t work properly Wifi was very week No teas and coffees / kettle in room had to wait for it to be brought which was about 6pm rather than on arrival Dogs barking woke us up Evening meal served cold and an hour late

Exceptional

Ntabiso was very hospitable to my young man who was in Bulawayo for business. He enjoyed his stay and environment was good for his studies as he was writing exams at the time. He was also very accommodating as we were not sure about payment arrangements, so he allowed him to stay first night until we could organise payment the next day.

booked but did not check in. not convenient to access the property in the evening/night

the trees and plants

the fact that they have guard dogs running loose on the property in the evening. can’t come and go at will which is highly inconvenient.

Trip to Bulawayo

Room service, WiFi, Hot Shower and Hosts all was excellent!!

Parrot lodge was amazing! Rooms are spacious and they were sparky clean. Siziba is an excellent host!. He showed us our rooms and gave us complimentary coffee right away. Our kids were very happy with the Wifi. The two female hosts who attended us in the morning were excellent as well. I recommend Parrot Lodge a 100%.

The staff alertness and obvious bias towards serving the guest was outstanding. Ntabiso, the manager, is available when needed and decisions are made timeously.

In winter surely a heater is needed. The fan heater in the room was no use at all

Mr & Mrs Ndlovu's Christmas at Parrot Lodge

The member of staff Ntabiso Siziba was very professional. I made the booking on behalf of my in laws, and he hosted them like his own parents updating me when they checked in and they were so happy during their stay.

Bulawayo is a nice city and Parrot Lodge makes a great base to explore the surrounding area.

I was in transit through Bulawayo (NB This option is not given above as a reason for travel) and picked Parrot Lodge at random. It's a delightful place, quirky, clean with very friendly and helpful staff and good food..

There was a barking dog nearby that kept me awake, but that's not the fault of the hotel.
