Llullu Llama Mountain Lodge

Amazing lodge along the quilotoa loop. The best place to rest along the way and to experience the views and small villages. The stuff was very nice and generous. The rooms were very clean and organized. We took a lunch box to the road and it was the perfect solution.

Dinner was ok…

Beautiful lodge with nice cozy design. Plenty of places to just relax in the common area. Great views on the surrounding hills and free yoga classes! You had to pay extra (7$) for the spa area but it was amazing after a day of walking.

The mattress in the dorm room was really bad. There’s also no toilet on the upper floor so you always have to walk down.

This was our third time staying at Llullu Llama, which says something about how much we enjoy this hostel. This time we took the Blueberry Wine tour that they offer, and we're so glad we did. The wine tasting at the small, community run winery was made extra special when the staff and our taxi driver joined us to watch the end of the World Cup. We walked away with several bottles of wine, some of which we shared that evening back at the hostel. Our favorite part of this wonderful little place is the family dining, which has introduced us to new friends from around the world each time we've stayed. It's truly a magical place, in a magical landscape.

The property is good with a nice interior and clean facilities (such as the shared bathroom). The food is lovely.

It has small rooms and is highly highly highly overpriced, also for drinks and the lunch-box. Breakfast only starts at 08.00, which is late for hikers. Also no coffee available prior to the breakfast.
