The location was amazing. Walking distance to almost everything in the town. Has a really big back yard with a covered deck. So a good place to have a bbq and hang out with friends and family. Very spacious and beautiful house.

There were no basic amenities such as tea , coffee, sugar salt or pepper. There were only 6 cups and plates even though the house accommodates 10 people. The bbq gas cylinder was empty and I had to go get it swapped. The host was apologetic for the inconvenience, and I was refunded for that cost.

It was filthy, there were cobwebs and dead bugs all over the windowsills. The kitchen, fridge in particular, has a horrible fishy smell, utensils were dirty and had dry food stuck to them and the appliances were all filthy. we didn’t eat or cook at the property because of this. there were used, dirty tissues in the bedside draw and under the bed and the grass was very overgrown. The house is damp, very thin curtains so heating has to be run constantly and the beds were very hard (although pretty hard to find the perfect bed). No wash cloth/ paper towels or anything besides a vacuum and couple of cakes of soap to clean with. shower had mould, one shower has 0 water pressure and there was also a previous tenants used soap in there. pretty disappointing overall considering checkin was 3pm and there was no wifi.. you would think it would be adequate time to make sure the house is presentable. definitely not a covid safe accommodation.

Location was fantastic. We didn't have to get into the car as we could walk to the supermarket and cafes, beach etc. Great number of beds if you have multiple families staying. Lovely big back yard for the kids to run around in. Kitchen has everything you need but beware you might get ants trying to get into all your food.

Beds were rock hard, gas heater in lounge room didn't work so we had to run the split systems constantly as the house was quite cold. Would have loved a clothes horse to dry clothes inside. There was a dryer but I'm not keen on using them. Our kids managed to drench themselves at the beach :-)
