Hotel La Casa Rosada

Thank you so much for these 5 wonderful nights with all of you! This place is absolutely amazing it truly feels like the world stops for a moment. I could honestly live here for a long time, trust me! It’s the perfect place to slow down, relax, reconnect with yourself, and easily fall into a peaceful routine. For any traveler looking to pause, recharge, and enjoy a real break away from the busy world, this is an exceptional place to stay. The hammocks on the deck, the peaceful atmosphere, the surrounding nature… everything is made to help you unwind. And the cookies be careful, they are incredibly addictive!! 😍 A huge thank you to Luis and the whole team for making us feel so at home from the very first moment. Your kindness, warm welcome, and beautiful energy make this place even more special. A truly peaceful little paradise that I will never forget. Highly recommended! Peace, Love ❤️

Amazing location with views of sunrise each morning. Staff were amazing and kind, especially Daniel. The kitchen was perfect for making my own meals, and the food served away exceptional! I would highly recommend this place.

The location is great, right at the sea front, with a lovely view, and close to everywhere. The bungalow was comfortable, the restaurant and social areas inviting and with a relaxed vibe. Good food in the restaurant.

There is a communal kitchen, but it was very dirty and not well equipped. The bungalows are very close to each other so there is no real privacy there.

The people at the front desk were polite and helpful. It was really nice they helped set up a cheaper boat from Rio Dulce to their hostel. The dock was lovely to sit on.

The kitchen is unusable, because the management says they claim zero responsibility over the it. This to me feels quite lazy. In the majority of hostels, it is generally the guest responsibility to clean after themselves but the hostel will clean the kitchen once a week or once every other week. There will always have bad guests who don’t clean up after themselves but this hostel consistently makes their other guest suffer for it. The dogs are not well trained and bit one of the other guests while we were all hanging out and swimming. There were several things that were broken or torn. Our mosquito net had several holes in it, which it still helped some against the mosquitos but let quite a few in through the numerous tears that were in the net.
