Didnt stay for food

Great location near the zoo and quite cheap with decent sized room
The window couldn't close so it was absolutely freezing and no way of putting heating on of an evening 001

Although the room was a little dated this is to be expected in an old building and they did everything for the room as to be needed. The bar and staff were amazing and the food was very good. A great all round experience

Good promote to town centre
Plenty of parking
Large sports pub with a limited offering of English ales etc
Our room had a double bed with access only from one side. If you have to to “go” during the night it is darn awkward to shimmy your was out if you’re on the wall side.
While clean, the room and corridors had a slightly shapely look. Needs new brighter paint or wall paper.
