Great food for breakfast and staff very accommodating and helpful. We dined in the restaurant and food was divine.

Une très belle surprise!
Le personnel de l’hôtel est très accueillant et une personne parlant le français nous a accompagné tout au long de notre séjour. La chambre est décorée avec goût, la literie est de très bonne qualité et le petit déjeuner nous a enchanté.
N'oubliez pas d'aller diner au restaurant, le chef est au petit soins.

Sehr nettes Personal. Es wurde auf die Wünsche beim Frühstück eingegangen. Großes Badezimmer mit genügend Platz. Für den Koffer einen erhöhten Ablageort. Aufzug vorhanden, falls benötigt. Plastikkarte/Schlüssel für Haupteingang, Zwischentüre und Zimmertüre war unkompliziert anzuwenden.
Zu prall gefülltes Kopfkissen. Hätte sicherlich etwas sagen können, hab es aber Vorort vergessen zu sagen. Deswegen aber die Bewertung schlecht zu machen, wäre aus meiner Sicht übertrieben. Da das Zimmer klein ist, war die Platzierung des Fernsehers etwas schwierig und gehört auch für eine gute Ausstattung dazu. Da ich den Fernseher auch nicht genutzt habe, kann ich dazu keine Bewertung abgeben. Es wäre schön, vielleicht habe ich auch nicht den Schalter dazu gefunden, womit ich den Stand by Modus (rotes Licht dauerhaft an) hätte abschalten können. Daher habe ich den Stecker gezogen. Sorry.

Freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiterin. Frühstück reichhaltig und für jeden Geschmack gab es etwas.

A pleasant surprise in a beautiful place to make a stop in the Black Forest. The staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Attention to their guests and details on arrival exceeded all expectations. I recommend this place without a doubt.

Very well managed for a family business. Few rooms but well cared for, from comfort to cleanliness. The restaurant offers an unforgettable experience of regional Black Forest cuisine. Amazing breakfast comprising some of the fine delicacies of the region. Its location just in the middle of the Black Forest makes it ideal for touring the region. Also not far from Baden Baden and a 30 minute ride to the wonderful Freiburg.
In hotter summer nights, not having air conditioning might be difficult. This will not happen often, though, as Elzach is a small town within the mountains and cooler than other places.

Traditional but modern premises close to the centre of Elzach and being adjacent to a first rate restaurant which is part of the hotel
So clean and efficiently run special mention to Nicholas who along side other team members really looked after us and went the extra mile
Breakfast is a total delight and Jessica is so friendly and efficient

The staff was super kind, the rooms were clean and bright, comfortable beds and pillows. location is very good, in a quiet spot in the small town, a perfect base for exploring south Schwarzwald. the restaurant of the Gasthaus is amazing, you can eat out right along the river, so relaxing.

Hotel is perfect in every way. Beautiful rooms, perfect location, delicious restaurant, and super helpful staff. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping and groceries. Beautiful river runs through the town at the front of the hotel. Amazing mountain views. Parking area steps away from the hotel. Delicious European breakfast served every morning.

The restaurant was incredible, a must! Parking also great, location is good for visiting all the nearby mountains, towns, things to do, and sights.
