The property is well situated - close to the beach and site swimming pools.(when open). Snorkelling off Bikini beach by the clubhouse is surprisingly good. It was clean, well equipped and with a small but good pool. It has two balconies one catching the morning, and the other the evening sun. The only drawback was that the Tortugua beach complex was closed, and the alternative Dunas resort was almost 1km away. Additionally the management at Dunas Beach were singularly unhelpful - reflected in score on check in. Given the distance to Dunas, and that my wife has limited mobility we hired a car. This was an unplanned expense, but made a huge difference, giving us the freedom to go where we liked, when we liked. Visits to Blue Eye and Shark's Bay were really good, but the off road driving was hairy and stressful. Dining in Santa Maria is very good. Lots of places, some at UK prices, some really good value. Fresh fish from the pier is both good, reasonably priced and great fun A really good holiday in spite of closure of hotel facilities

On an all inclusive resort second line from the beach. This modern, well equipped villa was a perfect holiday home. We adored the town of Santa Maria and the beach was quiet with good swimming in a harbour area. The cushions for outdoor seating need to be replaced. But the pool was cleaned daily and it was in a perfect location to enjoy town and beach.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great facilities at villa and resort. We especially enjoyed the balconies and sunset view. Garden furniture is getting a little old but otherwise all good!

Groot huis, mooi en beschut gelegen vlakbij het strand. Goede inrichting maar zeker niet 'brand new'. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de slaapkamer en terras op 1e verdieping. Heel kleine douches.

Property is located in resort 1 min walk to beach front so is ideally located. It is very clean and comfortable. The only downside to property is the toilets are constantly running which needs to be looked at but not a major issue. There is wifi in the villa in ground floor which is slow but useable - bring a booster if u want to extend signal. All utensils/linen provided but you need your own basics - tea/salt/oil etc. We did get bitten by mosquitos so rem. to bring some repellent. The resort is good and majority of staff are very friendly and helpful. We often ate breakfast and used various restaurants - children under 6 eat free - bonus. We used the spa facility where you get 50% off any treatment if you have more than one. Taxis are plentiful and a ride into santa maria town centre for food/shopping is 3/4 euros. There are options of excursions and water sports. Personally i would avoid Tui, Tui do not employ locals i believe and the local companies are just as good if not better not to mention cheaper. The locals rely on tourism as only source of income so they are not well off but they are friendly so rem. to tip when you can if possible.

We stayed for 19 days and were looking for peace and quiet and sunshine and that’s exactly what we got! The villa was extremely comfortable and had everything you could possibly need and more. The views of the beach from the front balcony are stunning! Thank you to Darren, Warren and Ali they couldn’t have been more helpful and prompt with questions and correspondence.

This Villa has an amazing location with spectacular views... couldn’t be better. It has everything you could need for self catering and on a wonderful resort with great facilities. The owners gave us a great deal of information prior to our arrival which assisted us greatly. One word for the Villa, the island and the experience... FABULOUS!!!

Es war eine sehr gemütliche Unterkunft. Ich hatte erwartet, dass für jeden Schlafraum eine Klimaanlage zur Verfügung steht, dem war aber nicht so. Es gab lediglich in einem Schlafzimmer sowie im Wohnzimmer eine Klimaanlage.

We had 14 lovely days at the villa. It was clean, large and well functioning. We had a few problems with the garden and one AC, but one day after we contacted the host was it all fixed. Thank you, Darren.

Great relaxing villa. Breakfast in the garden and afternoons on the bedroom balcony overlooking the ocean. Was a little hard to get fresh food to cook, only I supermarket in Santa Maria with limited things but can get all the basics. Was a little windy on the beach some days so we sunbathed on the balcony which was sheltered by the wind. The resort was lovely but glad we weren’t all inclusive, plastic glasses and mass cooked food not our thing, they’re some lovely restaurants in Santa Maria a 5 minute taxi ride away so wasn’t a problem, would happily recommend

I came with 4 adults and my 5 year old daughter the villa on arrival was immaculate spacious and well worth every penny. When it says you have views of the sea you really do the beach is a 2 min walk if that and on the balcony you have a view of the beach and sea it’s beautiful... the resort is beautiful aswell 2 large pools 2 kids pools and you have your own pool in the garden. I have nothing bad to say about the villa the communication from the owner was brilliant sent very helpful information in regards to my stay. If you are looking to book a few things I would avoid are the men on the beach selling boat trips/ jet ski experiences they pay the security to walk about for 30 minutes so you think they are genuine and I would avoid the waterside restaurant it was slow and the food wasn’t great. The other restaurants on the resort are amazing we ate in them all they didn’t charge for my daughter who’s 5 you have to book to get into the restaurants. We will all defiantly be coming back none of us have a bad thing to say. In another review it mentions the bikini beach music which yes you can hear but it really isn’t bad I thought it would be awful but it’s really not so don’t let that review put you of the weather was beautiful most the staff at the resort were brilliant!!! We will all be coming back in October :)

Hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit mooie huis. Ligt vlak bij zee en wil je gebruik maken van de faciliteiten van het park dan kan dat allemaal. Santa Maria is prima te bereiken met de taxi als je ‘s avonds daar wilt gaan eten. Het was een heerlijke plek om een weekje lekker te ontspannen.

Villa is well appointed and has all you need. It's modern, clean and clinical and whilst it is to standard you could find in many places around the world you should book this villa for the opportunity it brings to enjoy Santa Maria, Sal and Cape Verde. It's on an all inclusive resort and we had no problem enjoying the pools, bars and entertainment and the resort next door allows you to enjoy the 'Bikini Beach' club too. The walk along the shoreline to Santa Maria is breathtaking. It must be a couple of miles so on the sand is fairly hard going but we took an hour to hour half walking it several times, enjoying the kite surfer's spectacle and breaking waves along the way. Santa Maria has a nice mix of modern and very traditional bars, cafes, restaurants. It's not the Mediterranean but we loved it for its developing charm and the sheer friendliness and joy of the local people. Every local bar even the ice cream parlour has some music on the go come the evening and pedestrians take over the streets at weekends. Forget all inclusive, book direct with this villa and enjoy the real charm of the locals in Santa Maria. The lunar landscape of Sal was brilliant for the quad bike hire we did and we enjoyed a sailing trip on Cuba Libre. No car is needed. Taxis are plentiful and from airport was 15 euro and taxi to Santa Maria was 3 euro during the day and 4 at night. Euro and escudos were used in parallel so need to get local currency. We self catered a few nights and the supermarket, Cazu in Santa Maria was adequate for this or buy a fresh fish direct from the fishermen on the pier. Enjoy.

The only thing that marred the holiday was the overly loud Bikini Beach club next door to the complex, booming out extremely loud music till the early hours of the morning necessitating closure of all Windows ..... shame.

Nice house in a hotel compound no need to leave the place you got it all within 1 minutt.
